This painting adorns one of the treatment room in our clinic. I love the anemone-like beauty of it.

When I can, I treat my fertility patients in this room, because the painting reminds me of the fimbriae around the opening of a woman’s fallopian tubes that collect the egg after ovulation and begin drawing it toward the uterus for implantation.

I always hope that it reminds the patient of the incredible power of nature and the incredible power of her body to be a safe harbor to a growing, fragile life.

I believe that the beauty of art and the beauty of nature can heal.
