It’s pumpkin season ya’ll! Gotta love some weekend baking.
I bake this pumpkin bread with coconut oil, coconut sugar and half oat flour. I cut and freeze them for quick snacks. Life is about balance ❤️

🤔 Do you REALLY know the full effects of sharing good quality chocolate?

Yeah we know its known for having an aphrodisiac affect on lovers, but do you know that scientifically it reduces depression and promotes serotonin and feelings of happiness? 🥰💕

Imagine how many fights could be resolved and avoided if only we shared more chocolate 🍫💝🤷🏻‍♀️

🤓 📢 Chocolate contains a key compound called tryamine, which is derived from the amino acid tyrosine. Tyrosine is the amino acid precursor to dopamine. With increased tyrosine levels comes increased dopamine levels, which results in the activation of the reward center in the brain. This dopamine pathway can also help to explain the pleasure and joy you might feel after tasting that first bite of chocolate cake or a truffle.

Also when tryptophan is low in the diet, there is less serotonin production and thus the individual might feel more depressed or anxious. However, because chocolate contains tryptophan, the resulting increase in serotonin can help explain why one might feel happier, calmer, or less anxious after eating a piece of chocolate. 🤯

A recent cross-sectional study of over 13,000 U.S. adults found that people who ate dark chocolate in the prior 24 hours were ✨70 percent ✨ less likely to report depression.
