3 Music Rituals to Help Alleviate Back-to-School Change Change—especially for children in any capacity—is hard, but one thing always helps...music! Here are 3 quick tips on how music rituals can help alleviate transitions (like drop-off times and hand washing) and enhance child and family engagement.

One of our favorite Kindermusik teachers, Miss Kaitlin, will offer Level 1 and Level 2 Kindermusik classes in North Raleigh beginning September 10th. Classes will take place at Starbright Youth Theater's new location: 5209 Oak Park Road, Raleigh, 27612. Ages 2-3 years is form 10:15 - 11:00 AM and ages 12-24 months is from 11:15 - 12:00 PM. Change is hard for grownups, so imagine what it's like for a child...they don't have the vocabulary, regulation skills, or rationalization capabilities to deal with it in the moment. Those are all LEARNED skills, and musical routines can help.
