Hi Everyone it's Nelly, as some of you already know, I have had some health issues in the last few months. Now after lots of tests I finally have answers. Because I think of so many of you as family, I have decided to share this with you. I have been diagnosed with stage 3 rectal/anal cancer. As scary as this diagnosis is, this type of cancer is very receptive to chemo radiation. Yesterday the Dr changed my prognosis from 70% cure rate to 80% or above. I have already started radiation and in the next month I will start chemo.
As most of you know tattooing isn't just a job for me it's a way of life. I put my heart soul into every tattoo. I have to be operating at 💯. Having said that, I have decided that I need to take time off while I undergo treatment.
I know that some of you still have gift certificates and a few of you might have deposits. I will still honor those as soon as I am back in the chair. I hope that you will wait for my return. However if you are unable to do that Anthony will be more than willing to get you on his schedule. Beckah is more than happy to get you taken care of as well.
I will be actively involved in the operations of our shop. And I can't wait to get back to doing what I love the most.
