Bracket play for Sunday

2024 PGB Rules of Play

- Equipment
o USA/ASA or USSSA slowpitch (220/240) w/stamp bats
o USA/ASA 52 cor balls only (everyone hits the same ball)
- Fielding
o 2 women in the field at all times
o Must be at least 1 woman in outfield & infield
o Any defensive alignment is allowed
o Coed line in affect
- Hitting
o Women must be spread out in batting order (no women back-to-back)
o HR limit is 4/game
 After 4 is an out
o In the case of a walk…
 1 base is awarded
 If 2 outs, a guy is walked and a women is next….. this is 2 bases, but the women still must hit
- Base Running
o 1 pinch runner per inning each for a women and men
o Can be anyone in lineup, as long as same gender
- Pitching
o 5-10 height (from deck)
o Can be up to 6' behind rubber
o Juking allowed
- Game Ends
o 1 hr time limit
o 7 innings
o Run Rule - 15/3, 12/4, 10/5
o Away team starts w/ 0.5 runs
 In the event of a tie after 7 innings or time, win goes to away team

HR Derby - Friday 8/2

5:30 start signups
6:15 start hitting

$20 entry
$20 buybacks (no more buybacks after 9:15)

- Everyone hits derby balls
- Men over the fence
- Women over the coed line
- 12 pitches, 10 hits
- Tie-breaker (lowest hits to reach total)
- Saturday Finals
-Top 6 Men
-Top 4 Women
-Calcutta style auction before finals
-Payout for owners of top 2

Oil City Opener - Rules

Homerun Limit - 3/game
- Can pay $50 one time before game starts and receive double HRs (Purchase must be announced before each game)

Bats
- Can use any ASA or USSSA stamped bat

Balls
- Hit your own ASA 52s

Pitching
- 5-10 foot arc
- Umpires have final ruling
- Juking is allowed
- Pitcher must wear a mask

Pinch runner
- Pitcher gets a free pinch runner if they want to use it.
- You also get one additional runner per inning

End of Game
- 1 hr time limit or
- 7 complete innings or
- Mercy rule (15 after 3, 12 after 4, 10 after 5)

Away team starts with 0.5 runs

Games will start on time
- If you don’t have 8 you cannot start.
- Must bat at least 10
- Anyone missing in the lineup it’s an out

COED
- Cannot have more males in the field or lineup
- All other traditional coed rules are in aff

Championship Game
- There is no time limit
- Game ends upon 7 innings or mercy rule
- Away team does NOT start with 0.5 runs

Lay off the umps. Yelling, demeaning, arguing is all ridiculous. Chill out and have fun.
