Try this:

Instead of getting upset when things don’t go your way, ask yourself why it’s happening and what you can learn from it.

Get curious.

Things don't happen for no reason. Cause and effect is always at play.

Getting curious allows you to begin to see patterns, and discover the cause for what is happening. When you know the cause, you can make changes and get different results.

When you choose curiosity over frustration, you open yourself up to solutions you may have missed in the heat of the moment.

You just have to know how to get those creative juices flowing. 🤓

The more you understand how your brain works, the better you can train it, control it, and make it do what you want.

Creativity isn’t just something that happens by chance, it’s something you can strengthen, like a muscle.

Studies have shown that spending time in nature increases creativity. That's because looking at the beauty of nature shifts your focus from electronic devices, which reduces anxiety, lowers your heart rates, and soothes your mind. When your more relaxed, your brain can form connections more easily.

Meditation activates your entire brain. It allows you to clear out jumbled thoughts and make room for new ideas. It can be as simple as closing your eyes and focusing on your breath for a few minutes.

Also, just doing nothing and being "bored" will stimulate your creative muscles. Try it on purpose sometime!! 🤗

Steve Jobs was famous for his walking meetings, and there’s a good reason for that. 🧐 Exercise releases endorphins, which reduces stress and clears mental space for more creative thinking.

Our brains like to take the path of least resistance, sticking to known patterns. But when you surround yourself with diverse perspectives, your brain is forced to think more deeply.

Utilizing credit can be a powerful way to fuel your business.

But you definitely want to be smart about it. 😳

Business credit cards can be really helpful, but if you’re not careful, they can become a problem.

Just making regular payments doesn’t mean you’re using them wisely. Business credit card interest rates are usually higher than other types of loans, so you could end up spending more than you’re making.

If you rely on high-interest cards during tough times, it could make things worse.

But if they're used responsibly, credit cards can offer awesome perks like cash back, no-interest periods, and short-term financing.

Here are some tips (I'm not a financial advisor, these are just some tips I've learned):

1️⃣Avoid Paying Interest:
Banks make money when you carry a balance and get stuck in debt. Only use credit cards if you can pay off the balance each month to avoid interest charges.

Also, business credit card interest rates can change, unlike fixed loans, and you could lose future profits to higher interest fees. So, if you can’t pay off a large purchase quickly, a business loan with a lower interest rate may be a better idea.

2️⃣Maximize Benefits:
Many business credit cards offer perks that other financing options don’t, like travel discounts or special pricing on services. Find cards that offer benefits most useful to your business.

For example, if you don’t travel much but ship a lot, choose a card that offers shipping perks instead of frequent flyer miles. Some lenders even let you customize your rewards categories, so choose a card that fits your needs without spending too much time managing it.

3️⃣Look Out for Intro Offers:
Alot of times, credit card companies attract customers with tempting offers, like no interest or bonus points for sign-ups. But be sure to read the fine print.

Usually there are spending requirements, and if you’re not careful, you could end up with a large bill when the promo ends. Always know the terms before signing up.

4️⃣Track Your Spending:
Keep a close eye on your credit card statements to monitor your company’s cash flow. Review your books weekly and plan to make payments when your cash flow is higher to pay down balances faster.

5️⃣Keep Business and Personal Purchases Separate:
Don’t mix business and personal spending on your cards. This will just make things complicated, and hurt your credit score if you miss a payment. Keep everything organized, especially for tax time.

6️⃣Be Cautious with Card Hopping:
Switching cards to take advantage of perks or zero-interest offers can be tempting, but do your research first! Watch out for fees and make sure the rewards are worth it.

Opening too many cards can lower your credit score, so if you plan to apply for a large loan soon, it’s best to avoid opening new credit cards.

Use credit wisely, and it can be a great asset!🧡🤗🧡

We’ve all been there— things are clearly going wrong, and someone chirps, "Look on the bright side!" or "Everything happens for a reason."

Annoying, right?

You might be tempted to roll your eyes or shake them for being so upbeat when the situation seems so dismal.

But before you do that, take a moment to consider if their optimism is actually working for them.

Do they seem calmer, more at peace, or maybe even enjoying life more than someone that lets challenges and struggles get them down?

What if their positive outlook is allowing more good things to come into their life?

There's alot of research about optimism, and most shows that seeing the bright side of things and believing in yourself no matter what, can actually cause you to be more successful, have better relationships and experience a higher quality of life.

People who focus on what could go right instead of what is going wrong, feel more capable of overcoming challenges— which actually helps things work out for the better.

Optimism doesn't deny difficulties but shifts focus toward solutions and possibilities.

Developing an optimistic mindset is a habit, just like anything else. Start by noticing your thoughts and words, and gently shift them towards how things could work out rather than focusing on the obstacles.

Try it for just one day. Even if nothing monumental happens, what if you feel just a little bit better, more hopeful, and more at peace?

Wouldn’t that alone make it worth trying?

Shame and guilt are heavy emotions.

They trap many of us in a cycle of feeling bad— that we're not doing better, that we keep doing that thing we don't want to do, that we can't get motivated— whatever it might be. Not feeling good enough.

When you try to change yourself from a place of shame or guilt, it only deepens the problem. These feelings create resistance, causing you to repeat the very patterns you want to break.

Approaching yourself with compassion and kindness releases that resistance.

When you can offer yourself love and understanding, the pressure to be perfect fades away. And healing begins to happen naturally.

Real change doesn’t come from feeling bad or giving yourself or harsh self-criticism— it happens when you create space for growth through self-love.

You already are perfect.

Everything else is just part of the adventure. 🧡

Many of us struggle with bad habits that we just can't seem to shake, no matter how much willpower or determined effort we throw at them.

Just know, that its not because you're not strong enough!

Our brains are designed to stick to its habits. So, you're fighting against your biology here!

But, our brains are also capable of change at any age. Neuroscience shows that our brains are able to rewire and be retrained in completely different patterns. That includes changing habits.

Here are some helpful ways to get your brain to do what you want, and leave that old behavior behind, so you can do the things you've been wanting to do.

1️⃣ Calm your nervous system:
Alot of our habits are ways that we have learned to self soothe and cope with the stress of life. Practicing deep breathing exercises or mindfulness techniques to calm your mind and body will help to regulate your nervous system. This makes it easier to make conscious choices rather than falling into old patterns.

2️⃣ Replace the habit with something positive:
You never want to take away a coping behavior without replacing it. Identify a healthier alternative to your bad habit. For example, if you’re trying to stop snacking when stressed, replace it with a brief walk or a glass of water or tea. By filling the void with something positive, you’re less likely to revert to the old habit.

3️⃣ Give yourself something to look forward to:
Make the new habit enjoyable by pairing it with something you love. For example, if you’re replacing mindless snacking with exercise, listen to your favorite audiobook or podcast while you work out. This way, you’ll look forward to the new habit, making it easier to stick with it and eventually break the old one.

4️⃣ Start with tiny baby steps:
If your goal is to replace a bad habit with regular exercise, begin by simply walking into the gym for just 5 minutes, three days a week. Don’t worry about using any equipment at first—focus on building the habit of showing up. Once that becomes routine, you can gradually increase the time and start incorporating actual workouts.

5️⃣ Be consistent, even if it's messy:
Consistently catch yourself when you’re about to engage in the habit you want to change, and interrupt it. At the same time, regularly practice your new habit, even if it’s messy or half-hearted. The more you repeat the new behavior, the stronger it becomes, gradually replacing the old habit over time.

6️⃣ Make the bad habit inconvenient:
For example, if you’re trying to cut back on TV time, unplug the TV or remove the remote batteries. Adding a barrier can give you a moment to reconsider.

7️⃣ Surround yourself with support:
Share your goal with a friend or join a community of people working on similar changes. Having someone to encourage you and hold you accountable can make a big difference.

8️⃣ Visualize your success:
There are many studies on the power of visualization and mental rehearsal. Spend a few minutes each day visualizing yourself free from the habit. Imagine how good it feels to have control and live according to your values.

9️⃣ Celebrate your progress:
Give yourself a high five in the mirror like Mel Robbins. Tell yourself how proud you are and recognize how far you've come. This will release dopamine and give you motivation to keep going.

🔟 Be kind to yourself:
Breaking a habit can be challenging, and setbacks are normal. Treat yourself with compassion and know your brain is just doing what it was designed to do. And your intention is stronger than your brain!!
