Hello everyone!

I hope you are all having a great weekend! As for me, I have a fun-filled Sunday with my daughter Audrey. She loves Sundays because it's the one day of the week where I'm home with everyone. We have a pretty busy day today, with soccer for Audrey, a birthday party for Elsie, and a firearm safety class for all 3 of the kids.

We also did some grocery shopping and meal planning for the week ahead. It is going to be a productive day, but also a bit exhausting. I'm hoping to relax a bit later on, as I have allergies that settled into my chest yesterday. I have no voice lol.

Look at this cutie! I've been doing her hair since she was born and now she's off to her first prom tonight! I love my loyal clients, I think it is so special to have someone in my chair who chooses me over and over again. I love that people can count on me to make the magic happen each time they see me!

Somehow, it's Monday again! I actually love Mondays because I get to pave a whole new week full of work and activities, and I also get to make new goals for myself!

My motivational tip this week is to start a new routine with moving your body. Do you already exercise? Add heat to your routine by going in a sauna for 10 mins after your workout! The health and mood benefits of a sauna are instant!

There is a new sauna place in Castle Rock called Perspire and I hear it's addicting! They use red-light technology that also is great for your skin! Just make sure you're protecting your hair with a leave in treatment, pretty please!

This probably sounds silly, but since I've been back at the gym, I can feel my soul shifting. I'm able to let more things that used to bother me go, and I feel more balanced inside. I'm happier, I am getting more done, and I know it has to do with me pouring into myself.

I'm more motivated than I ever have been, I'm welcoming change and growth without fear, and I have a renewed sense of confidence in myself. It feels really good. I wake up with an attitude of "What do I GET to do today?"

In these past few months of change, I have found I want to surround myself with positivity and gratitude. I want to be around others who are positive and motivated because the energy multiplies. Life is short, and we only get one try. So let's do it up with some style and s***k, and let's do things that make us feel good!

One of my favorite pictures. This is my sister and my nephew. I installed extensions in my sister's hair for just a little bit of length but mostly fullness, as she had tons of hair loss from covid. This was just over a year ago and her natural hair made a full recovery with the help of extensions, supplements, and using less heat. Her natural hair is now thick and longer than this when I cut it last month!
