We are very excited to welcome Pastor Walter Jamie Hawkins (.j.hawkins) as our guest preacher this Sunday. His personal story of God’s faithfulness through adversity will be a great reminder and encouragement as we close out 2023. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 11:00am.

Jesus comes to the world to bring rest and lifts the burdens off our shoulders. These are the promises of God and fulfilled in Jesus. He is the promise giver and the promise, Himself.

The Promise of Christmas opening night is tonight!

We hope you’ll join us in the presentation of the birth of Jesus. Tonight at 7pm at Redwood Chapel.

Our stage spans time—from that little town of long ago, to our present day. People are still hurting, broken. Wars still rage within our hearts and in the world around us. God still sees us, still knows our need for a Savior, and He will always be with us. This is the promise of Christmas.

We can’t wait to have you all on campus for this fabulous performance!

Watch as the choir and orchestra bring the Christmas story to life through music and arts, through a multi-media presentation, done to a creative stage backdrop. There will also be a bell and flute choir so come thirty minutes to watch them perform.

Do not lose sight of the future that God has promised for you. In the next couple of weeks during Advent, we will focus our eyes collectively, to look to the promise of Jesus, not just Bethlehem but also new Heaven and New earth.

Join us for Josie and the Jinglicious Dream Lamp and support the youth choir! 12/1 at 7pm at Redwood Chapel.

We’re working with Shepherd’s Gate on a coat drive to provide children warm jackets!

Shepherd’s Gate is an organization that provides safety and programs for women and children to escape from abuse, addiction and homelessness. Please consider donating a jacket this season!

- Redwood Chapel is organizing a coat drive for Shepherd’s Gate, which is an organization that provides a safe environment for women and children escaping addiction, domestic violence and homelessness. They provide programs that help with life, career and parenting skills, and their campus is in Livermore. Some women take as long as one year to finally escape abuse; some need a safe place to rest their head for 8 hours straight. Many of the children on campus have experienced trauma and need assistance and can use warm jackets before the weather gets cold. If you are able to, consider donating a new jacket. In the Google sheet in the comments where you can sign up for a specific age. Sizing is located in the sheet as well. Please deliver jackets to Redwood Chapel by 11/26 at 19300 Redwood Road.

A BIG THANK YOU to those who donated pantry items through our food drive with Shepherd’s Gate!

We donated over 300 items to fill their shelves to bless women and children on their campus in Livermore. Church, the staff here is in gratitude. Thank you.

Do you believe what you want to hear or TRUTH?

We are starting a new series in Galatians. 📖
The letter to the Galatians is a declaration of liberation for anyone who has been weighed down:
- by the burden of their sin
- by the burden of religious conformity to non-essential issues
- by the burden of attempting to earn God's favor

Ask yourself this week:
1️⃣ How does the Gospel get distorted today?
2️⃣ How can we protect the messege of the Gespel?
3️⃣ How can we live for the approvol of God, not men?

Celebrating 70 years! The members are what make Redwood Chapel home.
