*You're local and need a place for your family and friends while they are visiting. Just a short walk to the corner market and the Village Shopping Center, nice shops and restaurants. The local movie theater is just a few blocks away and so is Lake Chabot Regional Park (great hiking/biking trails, kayak, paddle boats and fishing). Within 15 minutes, in several different directions are the Japanese Gardens (a wonderful place) + 3 really nice golf courses and the Oakland Zoo. Easy access to 580 and 880 Freeways, public transportation just a block away and the BART station is about a mile away. Only a 20 minute drive to San Francisco (of course on a mild traffic day). Oakland Airport is about 15 minutes from us. Your fully furnished room over looks the gardens and includes wi-fi, cable TV, mini fridge, private/semi-private entrance. Your stay includes breakfast of seasonal fruits, yogurt and home cooked hot cereals and we offer family style home cooked meals (healthy and delicious) in the evenings. If you have special dietary needs - not a problem! Farm fresh eggs are available from our flock of 11 designer hens (when laying). Seasonal fruit and vegetables are available from our property too!
