TONIGHT at 7 p.m.! Join us in Mae Latta Hall for the debut of feature film, Thomas Underground (Rated R for language) and short film, Rosie (Rated G), by Frenna Productions. Free and open to the public!

Synopsis of Thomas Underground: Thomas Terrara is trying to enjoy what he calls "a nice, quiet sort of death," but his ex-wife and her infuriatingly loving new family refuse to take personal oblivion for an answer as they try to lure Thomas out of the basement underworld in which he lives and back up into the light. But first they have to help him to believe again in his value to the world and those that love this self-interred misanthrope.

Synopsis of Rosie: Rosie, an indomitable woman with Downs Syndrome, is determined to protect herself from the outside world as her deep seated mistrust of others leads her to see enemies everywhere. However, despite her fear of and lack of faith in humanity as a whole, Rosie is driven to leave her home when she discovers that her niece is getting picked on by kids in the neighborhood. Her furious excursion into her own neighborhood includes surprises and revelations that challenge her perspective of the world and the people who inhabit it.
