The annual holiday party and potluck will be held on Friday, December 16 from 10-11:30 a.m., featuring music by The Nitpickers. Bring a dish to share, if you'd like to, or just come and enjoy good company, music, and food.
The Wednesday Walking Club will begin June 1 at 9am at the Cedar Falls Community Center. The goal of the project is to get some exercise, see new parts of our beloved city, and to make some friends. 14 sessions total, ending with our last one on August 31. We have 2 classes lined up to do yoga at Overman Park (one in June and one in August). Sign up at the Community Center for a FREE limited edition t-shirt!

Thank you to "The Patch" in Cedar Falls for hosting our group. We enjoyed the apple cider, pumpkins, candles etc. It was a great day out and we had a great time!

With over 150 aprons in her personal collection, Tami Finley will take us through a nostalgic look at the fashion and functions of aprons throughout history. Told with humor and bits of trivia intertwined, the program includes a fashionable display of a variety of styles, fabrics, and designs, along with other associated items. Feel free to bring a favorite apron and its story to share!

Meet us at Hansen’s Farm for a free Tour Wednesday October 6, 2021 @ 9:15am
Admission includes a trolley ride to the farm and a walking tour to see our cows, calves, kangaroos, goats, milking parlor, barn and creamery. All participants get ice cream
Sign up required at the Community Center. Meet at the farm on the day of the event. Only 30 spots available!
🥾Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
🌂Bring rain gear/umbrellas if rainy weather is expected.
🧥During the cooler months, it’s best to dress in layers. The wide-open space on this farm in Iowa is a lot colder and windier than you think!
🧊Bring a cooler to keep in your car; you may want to purchase some dairy products or meats before you go home.

Our Story
Located in downtown Cedar Falls, the Center is available for evening and weekend rentals for special events such as weddings and receptions, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, retirement parties, and other special events. Chairs and table provided, capacity 200. No on-site food prep allowed, but small kitchen available facilitate serving of catered food. Dance floor. Non-smoking with ample nearby parking. Additional deposit required for wine and/or beer. Available to rent minimum of 30 days prior to event up to one year in advance.
