Getting ready for school to start! There is no better way than continuing education and connecting with some amazing people in our industry. We have completed a AKC Safety Certification course, 15 breed coat type certification and attended know your worth as a groomer and lastly today a handstripping and carding course. Tomorrow we will spend four more hours learning about the Bichon breed clip and finally a seminar on Doodles! What a great weekend with some very knowledgeable people. Time to get excited, we are bringing back this knowledge and these connections back especially for our students!!!♡♡♡

We are so proud of 2021 graduates! Look out Grooming world here they come, another batch of kind gentle groomers! Hooray!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

We are very proud of the students for persevering on Monday. Through thunderstorms, potty accidents, anxious dogs, big dogs and matted dogs. They put there head down and didn't look up till the dogs turned out amazing! A similar setting to a real grooming salon gives them just the experience they need to handle these things once they are fully graduated and out in the industry. They handled it all very well and I have no doubt they will be great, so proud.

Finally Standard Poodle Day!!! Let's start those clean feet😍. Holly already came in dyed and full of flare, we can't wait to see her in her accented Miami clip! Skye is a lab disguised as a Standard Poodle 🤣 so it's nothing fancy for this country princess. What a great contrast they make for class. Thank you to the pet parents for bringing us these fantastic models! 😍

Yorkie Day was a blast today!

Well the model head is nothing like working on a real Yorkie but we did our best! The fake hair is hard to scissor and very thick like pomeranian fur. It did the job of showing the students the process, so we are pleased.

Hooray for all of our students, they did a fabulous job finding the eyes and noses on these model heads! We are so proud😍

Let's play the game "Find the mouth nose and eyes"! Are our students up for the challenge? I bet they are! Stay tuned for a series of after pictures😀

When it's all said and done! Look at that smirk, I think someone had a good spa day💛
