We dropped off a ton of stuff to the Cedar Chest, they are all stocked and ready to go for tomorrow. cannot wait to see everyone in their Red Flannel Red tomorrow!

Update on our fun adventure. Life got a bit (a whole heap) crazy this year. Unexpected surgeries, graduation, work. So this year to save me from the funny farm we are having all of our merchandise in the Cedar Chest. Sally is amazing and they are wonderful to work with. So Saturday we will be in town but all of our stuff will be available inside at the store. This also makes it more convenient in case the weather takes a turn. Thank you all for your love and support. P.S. I really appreciate the support, I am still working a full time job and running the factory, the patience with us is greatly appreciated.

The swatches came! I need to source new material. Biggest concern, new knit. That mostly resembles the old. Also I get a ton of request for the granny gown in child’s sizes. the government is super strict on what we can lay our children down to sleep in. Flannel is flammable. So I might just switch the gowns to another material for the kiddos so at least they can look like mom😀

This week we are revamping the website so it will be down for a bit. Adding photos and some new product! Thanks for your patience

Dec 5th is the last day we will be taking orders. In order to allow for delivery by Christmas.

We are having difficulty finding the perfect knit and flannel since the last manufacturer closed their doors. I think I have narrowed it down and I am happy with the flannel, but in the meantime why not offer other ways to show love for our dear Red Flannels.

Good Morning,
I wanted to give an update on the factory and where we are at. I will admit owning, operating,and doing all the manufacturing of a business is a huge undertaking. I was definitely warned and I appreciate everyone’s patience through this process. The previous owner Pam has been great. Currently she is still helping me with the sewing. The original patterns are long gone and if you know anything about the creative medium of sewing it is and can be unique to the individual. So we are reworking patterns, trying new things, fabric is not as easy to get (especially if you are trying to stay in the USA) I am happy with the progress we are making. It might not be as fast as it needs to be, but it is what we can handle at the time. I am still working my full time job and I have a senior this year. I love this town and I could not sit and watch the factory die if I could save it. So, here we are chugging along as best as we know how😀 thank you all for your support and patience during this transition.

Community opinion time. Thanks to my wonderful neighbor for bringing over three different types of nightgowns all made by the Red Flannel Factory over the years. All three were different. Same basic design, different fabrics. One very lightweight flannel, one was heavy flannel, and the other was a cotton blend. My personal opinion the lightweight flannel is nice ( I get hot when I sleep). So what is your opinion?

Playing around with my logo. The one shirt is an original from the 80’s or 70’s I believe, trying to recreate it. This is the part I love. Keeping the tradition alive.

We are almost ready to go live with the new updated website. Does anybody out there have any photos that I can share on the site. I am looking for specifically a shot of the town that I can use, at night, during the festival, anytime will do. As well as any pics of the flannels themselves. Old and new! Thank you all so much!

Floor is coming along. Hardest part is waiting. Directions say wait 3 to 5 days before walking on. Can I be patient??

Demo starts today! Making my sewing room bigger. More room equals more creative space ( or more stuff) still working full time at my other job. Thank you for understanding while we transition.
