June's birthstones are both Alexandrite and Pearl. June is one of the few months that have multiple birthstones.

Alexandrite can have color changing properties due to its molecular structure, whereas the type of light source you are under can change the color of the stone.

Pearl's are formed when a small irritant gets stuck in an oyster, and over time is grown layer by layer. They naturally come in colors such as white/cream, as well as variations of purple and black.
