Student homeroom assignments for the 2024/2025 school year have been posted to the Community Web Portal and are available to view at http://www.casdonline.org/portal. Please review homeroom and transportation information with your child prior to the first day of school. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's school office.

NEW STUDENT IPAD DISTRIBUTION - August 8th

● There will be two time slots: 8:00-10:45am and 12:30 - 3:00pm. Students may stop by at any time within these two time slots to receive and set up their iPad. Depending on how many people show up at a given time, setup should take about 15-30 minutes. If you know an approximate time when you will be coming, we ask that you let us know by filling out this form: https://bit.ly/3vWrABq. This is not required, but will be helpful for us to plan for times that we are busy.

● Students must be present to receive the iPad. During this time slot we will be signing into and activating different accounts, reviewing essential information for learning with the iPad, and discussing expectations and responsibilities. It is therefore essential that students are present, and we will not be able to issue an iPad to anyone except the student.

● This is only for incoming CMS students. Students who are attending CASHS will receive their iPads at a different time.

● If you have a CASD Chromebook, you will need to bring this along with the charger and carrying case and exchange it for the iPad. If any equipment is damaged or missing, you will need to pay a claim by following the directions at https://www.casdonline.org/Page/17992.

● Since accidents happen, you may want to consider purchasing the insurance policy for the 2024-2025 school year. Information on the policy and how to join can be found at https://www.casdonline.org/Page/17992. Please note that policies last for one year and that you will need to renew if you purchased one

If the student can't attend on August 8th, they will receive their iPad on the first day of school. iPads will NOT be distributed at the new student orientation on August 14th.

CASD will host a five-week secondary summer program as an option for students to recover credit for courses that were failed during the school year. The program is available to CASD students who need to recover credits and were enrolled in grades 6-12 during the 2023-2024 school year. All registrations must be received by 12:00 PM on June 6.
