The 2023 Koser Jeweler Tennis Challenge, a 100K women's professional tennis tournament begins in less than a month. Some of the world's top female tennis players will be returning to Landisville, PA August 7th through the 13th. In addition to great tennis, we also offer a host of special events in conjunction with the tournament. Click here to see all the great events taking place throughout the week.

Once again the USTA Central PA District is sponsoring Kids Day on Friday, August 11 FREE to youth ages 4 to 14. The day includes on-court fun and games from 10 am to 11:30, and some off-court fun in the afternoon near the stadium court. Attached is a sheet of tickets to register for the morning activities. Please share these with family and youth at your facilities.

For anyone interested in starting a new program, expanding an existing program, updating your current program equipment, or bringing tennis to a new community, such as a Park & Rec, School, or social organization, the USTA Middle States has funds to help!

The USTA Middle States Program grant application is open for a brief 4th quarter. Please take advantage of this opportunity to apply for funds to help with your winter 2022-23 tennis programs. Click here to apply!

Program grant awards range between $100 to $4,000

2022 Middle States College Day Showcase
On Saturday, November 5, 2022, join USTA Middle States, along with some of the most influential tennis coaches on the east coast, where you will get a chance to talk to them and get answers to your questions. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will also be given the opportunity to showcase their skills on the court.

Access to college coaches, information, and opportunities is not always the easiest to seek out. For local tennis players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, Middle States College Day Showcase provides answers to all of their tennis questions.

Want to play college tennis, but need financial aid? Looking for a shot to earn a scholarship? Simply curious about what it takes?

The event will be hosted by Legacy Youth Tennis & Education from 11:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

With all the changes in the National track vs Local Track, players have more opportunities to advance in the National track & compete in the local track!
I would say that’s a win/win even though some teams win & some lose!
In the big scheme of tennis, I still say that JTT gives players an opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, creates teamwork, teaches life lessons with etiquette & sportsmanship skills & of course, it’s fun!

A big shout out to Jenks Landis for helping to keep this league up & running. The affects from Pat Smith passing away have really shown us how much Pat was supported & how much he did for the tennis community.
We need to keep his spirit & devotion alive to tennis so please consider stepping up to help.

UPDATE TO FRIEND AT COURT EFFECTIVE MAY 1ST

The USTA Suspension Point System and Point Penalty System have been updated to expand when suspension points and/or Code Violations can be assessed to a player for unsportsmanlike conduct. The change states that a player can be assessed suspension points when they, the player, or anyone associated with the player engages in unsportsmanlike conduct. DID YOU KNOW???? GREEN BALL PLAYTRACKER PLAYERS - JUNIOR CIRCUIT TOURNAMENTS
10 & Under Green Ball Playtracker players (under 11 years old) are not eligible to apply for a 12U Level 7 (RANKING) tournament (even though green balls are used in the 12U division) unless they have earned their correct 1500 Playtracker play/win points or when they turn 11 years old
10 & Under Green Ball Playtracker players (under 11 years old) can apply to JUNIOR CIRCUIT (non-ranking) level tournaments.
