Today, the historic statue of Benjamin Franklin, on loan to the Chamber of Commerce for decades, has returned to its origins. Ben will now overlook the courthouse plaza from the lobby of the Franklin County Judicial Center!

Architect Brian Kuhns and our new intern Kahleigh participated in the 7th Grade Career Exploration Day hosted by Washington County Public Schools, Hagerstown Community College, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Hagerstown Committee. They shared what they like about architecture with the students and how to prepare for a career in the industry. Students then took on a "build challenge!"

🎉Happy Retirement, Paul!🎉Last week we celebrated Paul Brunski's 25 years at Noelker and Hull & wished him the best in his retirement.

Noelker and Hull’s Michael Spencer will be climbing the Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb again this year!

Each year since 2015, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has held the Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb NYC at One World Observatory at One World Trade Center in New York City. One thousand participants climb 104 stories, symbolizing strength, hope and the resiliency of the American 🇺🇸 spirit. The event raises funds for the first responders and military who have sacrificed everything to keep us safe. Proceeds pay off mortgages of those who lost loved ones in the line of duty and also helps with retrofitting or building smart homes to help those who have become disabled in the line of duty. Every little bit goes a long way!

Michael’s time last year was 29 minutes and 14 seconds to climb 2,226 steps (104 floors). This year’s climb is on Sunday, June 2nd at 5am.

"You created something beautiful for us." Lovely words from Msgr. John Dietzenbach to Noelker and Hull's President Stuart Christenson and Lauren Bennett who, along with 700 others, attended the Dedication Ceremony for the Church of the Resurrection last week. The design focused on improving the aesthetic quality of the church building and worship space, and creating additions to provide a new main entry and gathering space for the church, as well as new meeting space.

Noelker and Hull's Michael Allen-Hall and Rob Peterson attended the LeadingAge PA conference this week. A big thanks to LeadingAge PA and to everyone who stopped by our booth!

Gorgeous night in downtown Chambersburg!

Congratulations to the team at the Surgical Institute of Reading their groundbreaking! We're excited to be providing architectural design for Phase 1 of the 3,900 SF addition/renovation of the sterile processing department, including a new OR decontamination room, central sterilization, and additional sub-sterile storage. Phase 2 of the project will be renovating the old sterile processing room into OR #5 for the facility.

We are thrilled to have the Easton Elementary School in Talbot County, Maryland selected as an outstanding project by LEARNING BY DESIGN!

Congratulations, Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., on your Outstanding Easton Elementary School project! One juror commented, "The new facility was constructed with challenging site constraints of 2 functioning schools. Classroom spaces provide visual stimulation through the use of color. It is clear that this project gets top marks for sustainability efforts and its LEED Gold status."

The wait is over! After much anticipation, the winners of Best of Frederick 2024 have finally been announced!

To those who may not know, every winner is chosen by locals for being “The best at what they do.” Thousands of votes pour in every year and we use a rigorous system to tally and authenticate submissions for maximum integrity. Without question… every single winner has gone above and beyond for our community, despite the many challenges and hardships they face in today’s world.
