💙 Today marks , a global movement where we proudly wear denim to stand in solidarity in support of survivors of sexual assault.

💙 Beginning in 1999, Denim Day became an initiative after an Italian Supreme Court case ruling that tight jeans implied consent. The next day, all women in the parliament wore jeans in solidarity. This day serves as a reminder that victims are never to blame for their clothing choices, no matter the case or situation.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
