Starting January 1, 2025, the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P) will allow Medicare members with prescription drug coverage (Part D) to have the option of spreading out, or “smoothing,” their out-of-pocket Part D drug costs over monthly payments for the duration of the plan year – instead of paying their copay/coinsurance at the pharmacy.
