Be part of a unique and fun team traveling to county fairs! Learn to operate 4-foot high Robotic Puppets who ride around in a Model T Car and a Trike!

♦️ Duties / Responsibilities
◾️ Operating robotic puppets with remote control and speaking with a different voice while interacting with the public
◾️ Assisting in setting up and changing puppets characters
◾️ Open to traveling and sleeping in an air-conditioned camper from 2 to 4 days

♦️ Requirements / Qualifications
◾️ Ability to walk fairgrounds for 2 hours at a time
◾️ Ability to talk with different voices
◾️ Willing to learn how to operate a remote control for radio cars

HBTC 2023 Winter Greetings A Wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to our family and friends of Homeward Bound Theatre Company. We thank you for your continued support and prayers of our ministry in it’s thirtieth year.

Looking for Puppeteers and Onsite Techs!
Ages 18+

Puppeteer: will roam around county fairgrounds piloting a remote control robotic puppet having entertaining family friendly conversations with fairgoers of all ages.

Puppeteer/Onsite Tech: in addition to normal puppeteer responsibilities, ensure that all electronics are functioning properly and troubleshoot any systems that are malfunctioning on site.

Both puppeteers will be expected to communicate with the fair contact while at the fair and report to home base with updates.

Ability to:
Communicate and interact with all ages and backgrounds of people
Problem solve and think on your feet
Work well and closely with other puppeteers
Multitask ie: remote control robotic puppet and talk to people

Talk to your peers about teen issues such as alcohol/drug prevention, bullying, eating disorders, Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA), as well as other issues that are effecting today's youth. Alumni, Current Team, Family and Friends!!

Join us at the Mpls Convention Center this weekend at the 6th annual Christian Community Fair. Homeward Bound will be on stage Saturday, November 12th at 4pm! Come see "Tandem Tales", "Barbie Cox" and some of our middle school and high school teens doing human videos! The Fair hours are Friday from 4p - 9p and Saturday from 10a - 6p. Admission is FREE. There is something for everyone - a huge petting zoo, a dozen inflatables, a variety stage, a music stage, and the largest Christmas Card ever sent from MN will be there for you to sign before it is sent to our MN troops in Kuwait.
