Alexis and Tyson did an amazing job introducing the recipients of the Chanhassen Elementary School Scholarship at the Chanhassen High School Scholarship Night! Thank you to Ms. Jackson for preparing our young presenters and Congratulations to Kassidy and Will, our Chan Elementary Alumni, for receiving our Scholarship! We wish you well as you begin the next chapter of your educational journey!

Meet “Principal of the Day” Ms. Talulla! She did a fantastic job leading our school today! From greeting families coming in for the 3/4 grade plays to Lunch Bunch with the Princiapl and Game Day with the Principal, Principal Talulla did it with a smile and lots of enthusiasm!

We wrapped up a fun day with our Chanhassen Carnival! What a great turnout! Thank You to our wonderful PTO for hosting such an amazing evening! Thank you to our wonderful students and families for shifting to the indoors due to the storm that passed through! The most flexible community!

What a wonderful Chanhassen Track and Field Day! The kids ran hard and showed amazing sportsmanship! Thank you parent for supporting our kids!

Well, it’s that time of year when Ol’ Mr. Lange starts to get a bit emotional. Today we sent our 5th graders off to tour the middle school in preparation for the next school year! I can’t believe they are already going to be 6th graders in Middle School. It seems like just yesterday they were coming in for Kindergarten Visitation!

Mrs. Larsen’s 3rd grade class has spent sometime learning about the Iditarod Dog Sled Race in Alaska. They finished their learning with a presentation from a real Musher and one of their sled dogs!

You have to love the creativity of our P.E. teachers! “Shark Tag”! Simply strap a shark to the top of a remote controlled car and chase the kiddos around while they are on their scooters! They love it!

What a wonderful 5th grade band concert this afternoon! Mrs. Gary and the 5th graders were amazing! Thanks for sharing your talents!

So proud of our ChanSTARS as they learned more about and embrace inclusion for all students! We’ve partnered with the Best Buddies Organization to continue to foster meaningful relationships between all students at Chan. Best Buddies State Ambassador, Elizabeth, shared her story of being included and valued as a student in her school.

Today, we celebrate the drivers who transport our students safely to and from schools. Drivers who bring classrooms to field trips, and our athletic and activity teams to competitions.

At the Minnesota Elementary School Principal Association’s MESPYs, Principal Lange was recognized by Minnesota Department of Education’s Commissioner, W***y Jett for the accomplishments of Chanhassen Elementary School receiving the National Blue Ribbon School Award.
