The Hollywood Branch is proud of Enni Harlan, daughter of Dr. Cynthia Harlan, who was selected as one of the five Young Artist Guild members - the ultimate achievement in our CM program. Enni has grown up performing in our branch events. We wish her a wonderful future!
Enni performed and was honored at the 2023 Convention at the Young Artist Guild Recital.

A wonderful opportunity to listen to world-class artists, music educators and students and to celebrate music performance and composition. Over 5,000 attendees fill the convention center every year.

HOLLYWOOD BRANCH‘S Southwestern Youth Music Festival 1st Place Winner !!!!!🏆🎶

Our Hollywood Branch MTAC Fall Festival yesterday, Sunday, October 23, 2022 was a great success! Excellent quality of performances and an enthusiast audience. Steinway Hall, Beverly Hills, was the perfect venue.

We started the morning with a Virtual Recital. It was followed by five in-person recitals.
Grigor Akopyan was our competent Chair.

A wonderful MTAC State Convention in Orange County this past weekend! Alan and I represented our branch in a vote at the business meeting on the controversial bylaw changes. It looks like our organization will be following a dual platform for CM - virtual as well as in person!
I attended the traditional Past State Presidents’ Luncheon and savored the good friendships of colleagues.
One is always blown away and inspired by the young talents that are displayed at the convention.

The last recital of our academic year:
The Achievement Awards Recital - June 5th
Our two chairs, Marina and Aroutioun kept everything running smoothly.

We honored the recipient of our Andrew Clemmons Memorial Scholarship Awards - Oliver Harlan as he embarks on a music degree at Oberlin.

Program #2 featured his own duet composition, performed with his sister Enni.

We celebrated Spring on May 1st with our traditional Spring Festival - an open recital for all levels and all instruments.

March 13th was our Bach Master Class with a wonderful presentation by Dr. Elvin Rodriguez. See our participants on Instagram mtac.hollywood.

Fall Festival on Halloween day; a good way to celebrate our return to live performances!

Our Winterfest and Sonata Sonatina competitions followed. We look forward to our Bach Master Class with Dr. Elvin Rodriguez.
