For the uninitiated this is a direct hook up from city water to a boats internal plumbing like a Winnebago.
The difference is that when your Winnebago's plumbing fails the water runs out to the ground.
When your boat's plumbing fails-..........

styrene is the unmistakeable smell of an osmotic blister which is a "condition" of many hulls. I have yet to hear of a boat sinking from these but they are a nusiance.
