Potomac Pool Service has two full time positions open starting the first week of July. Responsibilities of this job include visiting a route of 6-9 residential properties each day to conduct standard pool maintenance on a weekly basis, sending accurate and well articulated estimates for repairs, and managing communications between the client and company as their regular backyard pool service technician. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an energetic work ethic. Given the seasonal nature of the pool industry, full time technicians work through the summer until early November and may have the opportunity to work in the winter.

This position is outdoors, consisting largely of manual labor and routine maintenance for outdoor equipment on private property. Our wages are performance based and competitive, with a lot of room to grow. Our starting target wage is $24.84/hr. We are based in Chantilly, Virginia, and the ability to commute to work is critical.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A high school diploma is required, and experience in the pool industry is strongly preferred. A pool operators certification is also strongly preferred. Applicants are expected to have a reliable source of transportation and have availability full-time, 5 days a week, until the end of October.

Onward and upward! After 8 years with a Herndon address we are moving around the corner to 3656 Centerview Rd, Chantilly, 20151. 🚛🚛🚛

Our old warehouse park is slated for demolition next year to make room for new Amazon buildings, so we will be spending this winter sorting out our new space - and learning how to safely do donuts with a forklift 😁.

Be safe this afternoon! If you have an auto-cover, keep it open! It's easier to get debris and leaves out of a pool than it is to risk damage to your auto-cover from falling tree branches and heavy rains that can inundate the cover pump!
