😻CAT LOVERS -- PLEASE READ‼️ Do you have a warm sunroom or extra bedroom that you could spare to house a homeless feline for a couple weeks?

Over the next 2 weeks, Pawmetto Lifeline will be doing some much-needed renovations after being in this building for over 10 years. The work will temporarily displace our office cats in the administrative offices. All office cats are placed EXCEPT Rin and Jack. They are both super sweet boys!

We are searching for a cat-loving home with no cats for Rin! Rin is the sweetest but in an office area with more than 10 cats he marks his territory. We would like to see if he will stop spraying if there are no cats. It will make him even more adorable if we know that!

Jack has IBS. He sees a specialist in January. He loves people but needs space that is easy to clean. He is incontinent.

Bordering Lexington, Chapin and Hollow Creek, Lake Murray is 41 miles long and 14 miles wide at its widest point. Mark your calendars! The United States Angling Confederation and Capital City Lake Murray Country will host the 2022 in Columbia, South Carolina on on October 16-22.

Lake Murray, with an area of about 50,000 acres and nearly 650-mile shoreline, is known as the “Jewel of South Carolina” because of its glistening waters, and picturesque beauty. The Saluda River, flowing from South Carolina’s upstate adjacent to North Carolina’s state line, feeds Lake Murray. It gets its name after William S. Murray, the chief engineer involved in the Saluda Dam project, and had also been the largest manmade reservoir of the world upon its completion. The lake is famous for boating and fishing. At the same time, the Dreher Island State Recreation Area in its western fringes hosts a lot of recreational activities.

What is the best time of day to catch striped bass? The best time of day to catch striped bass is early morning from dawn until about 2 hours after sunrise and late afternoon from 2 hours before sunset until dusk. Fishing for striped bass can be even better in the hours before a major cold front or rain event arrives. ***Something to remember, though, until September 30th, it is unlawful to take, attempt to take, or possess more than five striped bass a day. On Lake Murray and the middle reach of the Saluda River from October 1st through May 31st, it is unlawful to possess a striped bass less than 21 inches in total length.
