It’s about mindset. Up until recently, you would’ve heard me say something like, “I’d rather poke my eye with a stick than exercise!” A little extreme, but you as my friends know me 😅 Since starting my journey into yoga six months ago, and now working out at the gym with my sister (which ended up being WAY more fun than I imagined), I realize the importance of moving the body. It’s not really about “looking good,” although this is a rewarding outcome. It’s about the mind/body connection. We’re not just a mass of cells; we’re energetic beings made up of intricate systems that are meant to grow and thrive and live! And that’s where I’m at. I will live a life I love!

We should not pretend to have confidence or knowledge in a particular area until we actually gain it.

It is simply false confidence.

Instead, we should stick to a more honest and realistic approach of "face it till you make it."

This means acknowledging the challenges and obstacles that come with pursuing a goal, and persistently working hard to overcome them.

Success only comes from facing and overcoming challenges, rather than pretending they don't exist in the first place.

In essence, we should embrace the challenges and failures that come with the struggle as opportunities for growth and learning.
