EIU Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity
ฮฆฮฃฮ Phi Sigma Pi is not just an honor society, a philanthropic organization, or a social fraternity; we are a mixture of all of these.
Phi Sigma Pi, a co-education national honor fraternity, fosters a spirit of fraternal unity while promoting the advancement of humanity through the application of knowledge and noble service. Besides this, we have BOBO Weekend, Brotherhood Retreat, Semi-Formal/Formal, Geek Games, and numerous other events. We are truly a unique group comprised of individuals from various majors, backgrounds, and social experiences.
The Brother of the Week is Alexandria Meyer!
Major: Communication Disorders and Sciences (Pre-Audiology)

The Brother of the Week is Maddie Harvey!๐
Major: Mathematics with Teacher Licensure and an Endorsement in Middle Level Mathematics Education
Minor: Religious Studies
"I joined PSP because it sounded like a good opportunity to get improve my leadership skills and be involved in a Greek organization that was also focused on academics. A lot of the people I met from PSP have the same values as I do.
I am currently the Treasurer of the chapter and I have also served as the Awards and Scholarship committee head, and the Risk Management committee head. I enjoy being able to have fellowship with everybody in the chapter as such a tight knit community!"
Emma Beck is this week's Brother of the Week! She is a junior psychology major with a human resources minor. She joined PSP because she was looking for a way to be involved with different people on campus. Since she came in with an undecided major, she didnโt get to make friends within her major her freshman year, so Phi Sigma Pi was a great way to get to know people that were focused on academics, but still get the social aspect that she was looking for.๐
Our brother of the week is Faith Morris!!
Year in school: Senior
Major: Public Relations
Minor: Fashion Merchandising and Design
Reason for joining: I joined PSP because it is both a social and academic fraternity. I was super excited to meet cool people who are academically-focused like I am and make long-lasting friendships. Currently, I serve as the Vice President of the chapter and love getting to work with all the different committees! ๐
This week's brother of the week is John Sisson! John is a senior Management Information Systems major. Within Phi Sigma Pi, John is the Parliamentarian and has held many other positions over the years. He chose to join Phi Sigma Pi because he wanted to get involved in an organization that would help him with his academics, as well as assist him in developing leadership skills and friendships.๐
This week's brother of the week is Ali Kirk! Ali is a senior Exercise Science major with Pre-OT option. Within Phi Sigma Pi, Ali is the Recruitment/Initiate Advisor and has help many other positions in the past. She chose to join Phi Sigma Pi at first because her sister was involved in it, and she always told her great things. As she became more involved, Ali realized it was much more than what she had been told. Phi Sigma Pi is a place where she came to be able to grow through leadership opportunities, and has been able to establish great relationships with even better brothers. Everyone is different in this organization, which makes it a great place to learn more about other people and their majors.๐
This week's brother of the week is Carrie Benjamin! Carrie is a Senior Elementary Education major. When asked why she chose to join PSP, she stated, "I chose to join PSP during my freshman year of college when I was looking for something to join. I was interested in Greek life, but I never wanted to join Greek life. When I heard about PSP, I was interested because it was different than Greek life. I constantly felt welcome at every event and recruitment activity. I knew that this was something that I could join because it pushed me to be the best version of myself while being surrounded by some of my best friends."๐
