As some of you may have noticed, Rascal’s has been pretty radio silent when it comes to rescue operations. We have shut down indefinitely due to SO many personal things happening in our lives, but we have a balance at one of our vet clinics that we need to pay off before we can really close. The balance is $2685.50. If anyone would please consider helping us pay off this amount so things can get squared away we would greatly appreciate it.

We still love animals, as that will never change but our families HAS to come first for awhile. Donations can be made directly to the vet’s office by clicking the donation button below, calling in to donate or using their PayPal. Just make sure to note “for Rascals Rescue bill” so it can be accounted for appropriately. ❤️

Jack took off in the mound area of South Charleston. I’ve only had him for 3 weeks, and he definitely has separation anxiety. He has a red leather collar with a tag with our phone numbers on it. We have a GPS tracker for him, but it was home charging. Please watch for him. We love him a lot! Contact 304-419-5459 or this page ASAP if you see or have Jack.

Belle is one of the most beautiful dogs we have ever seen 😍 she is incredibly well behaved, adores humans and would do okay with one calm dog (or as an only dog) and a family who can read puppo body language. She does amazing with kids (including young ones, but may knock them over with her thicc b***y), rides extremely well in the car and is crate/house trained. She’s a low rider and more muscular than your S/O ever dreamed of being. 😉

Message us to talk about Belle so we can see if you’re a match! 💕

Socialization is important but it’s more than meeting other dogs and people

Good information.

Friendly reminder about our inbox. We are all volunteers who answer the messages and we have very busy lives ourselves.

If you have questions about applying for an animal all that can be answered on our page if you take the time to look. You must have an approved application and home visit before meeting our animals to save us time from meeting a bunch of people who are not approved to adopt.

If you have specific questions about an animals behavior or if it would be a good fit, go ahead and just send all your questions and one of our volunteers will coordinate with the foster for answers. This takes time but we will get back with you.

We do not have a physical location and we do not have hours of operations. We fit rescue in where we can in our lives. We try our best to work with people but please just be patient as we try to figure it out. There are several behind the scenes messages you don’t see. I promise we are always working on rescue.

TNR questions will also be answered soon. I noticed one when I was checking the inbox, I’m just not the one who answers those questions so she will get back with you as soon as she can.

We are closed for intake and we are working on processing applications and doing home visits for the animals we currently have in our home. We do our best to provide the best care for every animal we take so we will not accept more than we can handle. If you would like to foster, we can possibly help. Otherwise I’m sorry, but not right now.

Any other questions you can send them but these are the ones I noticed when I had a free minute to check. This is a 2 person team plus our amazing fosters and volunteers who help us and we have a lot going on right now. We appreciate all your love and support. We just can’t do it all. Thank you for understanding.

Belle needed surgery ASAP to remove an XL bladder stone. She’s a super sweet girl who was definitely spoiled by her past pawrents. They wanted the absolute best for her and we promised to do that. Donate below to her surgery which cost us $830! 😭
