Hello everyone! I wanted to check in with a health update. While recovering from my late January back surgery and spinal fusion, I was put through some strenuous physical therapy. On my last session, I actually tore my MCL and fell to the ground, breaking my tibia which caused deep bruising to my knee bone. A visit to the Orthopedic surgeon revealed the best course of action to be a total knee replacement. I have not walked normally since late February, so any improvement at this point is a Blessing! That surgery is now scheduled for 7/17. This means that I am totally heartbroken because I will miss out on the convention in Salt Lake City, which I was really looking forward to. I had my shirt done and everything! lol

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and memorable trip to Salt Lake City. I hope to be back on board for 2024! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as I continue getting past these herb issues. Take care, and I’ll see you at the top!

You use your own products so that you can speak from experience to your customers. As a travel agent, I try to see as many places as I can just so I, too, can speak from experience to my clients. So, In the next 30 days, 19 of those will be spent visiting and taking notes on the 8 areas that I’ll be visiting. Because of that, I may be posting less frequently here. With all the recent changes to what our business has to offer, it’s easy to see that Derek and Melanie have invested more into creating an opportunity for each person to become leaders in their own business. By offering ex-presenters the ability to reclaim their old sales volume, there is an immediate boost to their new business! And, of course, the new titles that each “presenter” now has really allows them to feel more prestigious and invested in their business. These changes clearly translate into the leadership feel that each of you deserve! So, it’s now time to make all of these changes work for you. I’ll see you at the Top!

PACE is a word that is different for everyone. If someone is committed to something, it means they have decided on a goal. They didn’t commit to how long it would take to get there. Our lives all vary in complexity, so while some may work at a higher speed, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are any better. Sometimes, those of us who are just getting back into the game or working at a lower speed, just need that extra time to be sure of our steps. Give Grace to those who make the effort, no matter the speed. We will all reach the destination when it’s our time! I’ll see you at the Top!

There are so many faces coming back to experience Y-culture yet again! Perhaps, they didn’t have the success that they envisioned the first time, or maybe they had decided to try something different. Everyone has their own reasons for leaving. But, they also have their reasons for returning! They a noticed a change, or an opportunity that they couldn’t pass up! Starting over is never easy. But, starting over with credit for past sales performance sure makes it a change for the better! Welcome back! I’ll see you at the Top!

I know a few people who have fallen off the mountain because they thought that their ability would keep them on top forever. It takes so much more! Keep your character alive, because folks can see through false agendas. Be careful who you step on, because, trust me when I say that there are so many eager entrepeneurs waiting to climb! I can think of a few instances of where people have been forgotten, even though they are still part of the “Y Family”. Please remember those that need your support through life’s tough times so that they can come out stronger on the other side. And, then there are those who left us for other endeavors, only to be welcomed back to exactly where they belong. Younique’s vision is all-inclusive, and as such we should support and welcome everyone! I’ll see you at the Top!

Always make sure that you have the whole picture! And, don’t let others skew your view. Trusting in others too much can result in misguided information. You owe it to yourself to be fully informed. And, to those who have decided to come back to Y, WELCOME HOME! I’ll see you at the Top!

Hi Everyone! I’m still recovering from major back surgery. But, I wanted to hop on here briefly to say “ Yes, I’m still here”, and I’m aiming to be at 100% to make it to convention in Salt Lake City! I hope to resume my daily posts real soon! Thanks for your prayers! They mean a lot to me.

When I got involved with Younique through my daughter back in 2015, I didn’t really know what to expect. I just knew that I loved the energy that each of you gave to your respective businesses. Current personal situation. And, I’m sure some of you can relate. Do not allow others to dictate how you live your life. Things can spiral out of control very quickly if you allow yourself to drown in the words of others. So, be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished. If others make negative comments, it’s a reflection of them, NOT YOU! Keep moving forward. I’ll see you at the Top!

Don’t waste your time comparing yourself to everyone else. They are not you. And, you are not them. The path to success is straighter when you aren’t constantly looking around to see what everyone else is doing. Stay focused! I’ll see you at the Top!

Let’s face it, it’s probably the potential to have what you have that draws new presenters into the business. But, after seeing the work that it takes to get it, most will leave. It’s your job to help them learn to deal with the adversity in order to work towards the reward. I’ll see you at the Yop!

Imagine a job where your work isn’t appreciated, your effort goes unnoticed, and you could be replaced instantly. Not exactly a place you’d want to stay for a very long time. As a leader, this isn’t the type of environment you want to develop or sustain for your team. So how do you value your people?

It could be something as simple as saying hello, writing a handwritten note stating you did an excellent job today or remembering your employee’s names when you greet them, genuinely listening when engaging in a conversation, remembering birthdays or asking your employees how their mom or dad or husband or wife going. When you show your employees the simplest of gratitude and genuinely make your employee’s family part of the company, you will have some of the most loyal employees.

Some leaders take these things for granted but believe me; your employees will feel truly valued. Leadership is all about people, the little things make a huge difference, and the organizations that gets it are the ones that ultimately succeed. I’ll see you at the Top!
