How It Started β‘οΈ How It's GROWING πΈ
Check out these progress pics from Troop 10553. π± Last summer, these Girl Scouts created a pollinator garden as part of an Outdoor Journey. πβ¨ To check their project's progress, the troop rallied together and held a meeting at the park where the garden is located.
According to their Troop Leader, the Girl Scouts were so excited to discover the garden's new flowers and insects. π
On this International Day of Self-Care, we want to shine a light on the important work of Girl Scout Kaitlyn! π Through her , this Girl Scout Ambassador developed a project to help children understand and manage their mental health. β€οΈ
To meet her goal, Kaitlyn assembled a team of volunteers, then created and implemented a program to support mental wellbeing at a nearby elementary school. Kaitlyn and her team created posters, organized demonstrations and even created new resources for teachers to use in the years ahead. π

While the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Sale may be long over, we at Girl Scouts of Black Diamond are still blown away by our council's achievements! π₯³ During our latest cookie season, over 760,000 boxes of cookies were sold and our troops brought in $628,554.55 in total troop proceeds. πͺπ
As always, we thank our outstanding Girl Scouts and volunteers for their hard work during our product program sales.
