The Citadel Military Living History Society, also known as the Reenactment Club, focuses on honoring the sacrifices made by Citadel alumni and all U.S. We wish to educate the public about the battles, uniforms, weaponry, and even just the daily life of soldiers through our reenactments. Cadets Grish and Lisowski, and other participants attend the 2023 Commemoration for the HL Hunley, which was one of the first effective manned submarine assaults. The Submarine attacked the Union sloop USS Housatonic. She was crewed by 21 sailors, and all hands were lost before the submarine could not return to port.
