Tried my hand at something new 😊 this is a strawberry 🍓 trinket bag. It was supposed to be a whole purse and turned out smaller than expected. Cute for a first attempt!

Most challenging make for me in a while was this MOON! Lots of out of sequence stitches and stitches I don’t normally use when crocheting. It only took a few hours since there was minimal sewing, but lord my hands hurt afterwards 😂

A little hummingbird ❤️ I’ll be working on a wildlife pack of critters that is going to be auctioned off at Key West Wildlife Center’s “It’s For the Birds” annual fundraiser and silent auction. I love this rehabilitation center so much and will forever be thankful for the three years I spend volunteering and working under a fantastic team of rehabbers, rescuers, and animal care+education/outreach personnel. These wonderful humans taught me how to handle and care for wild birds, how to train and man education raptors, and how to rescue birds in distress using a variety of techniques at all hours of the days and night. Comissions will be starting again in January! Any critter, big or small, that you can think of or if you find a pattern out on Etsy that speaks to you I’d be happy to work up for you! No deposit for orders under $50 (unless customized) and most ship within 2-3 weeks of request. Requests are started and completed in order of the incoming request and starting cost is $15 for small (5 inches) critters. You can choose regular acrylic yarn, cotton yarn, plush yarn, or everyone’s favorite: just make it like the photo 😄 can also do the standard plastic eyes or crochet eyes. Not recommended for children under 3 years old, and CCD is a licensed business in North Carolina ❤️
