Falsifying Logs is a Serious Violation, Penalties can be as high as $15,000 Your Driver will be put OOS & it just creates a domino effect of bs (money lost & time wasted) when it could have easily been prevented by simply “Staying in Compliance” If your not 100% sure how HOS & ELD works my suggestion would be to Hire a Professional or request a demo/training from your provider….It’s not easy running a fleet of trucks! It’s a lot of moving pieces ♟ but we can’t get caught out there butt naked. Keep your Paper Logs on the truck @ all times & always have some type of written correspondence from your provider saying 📝 yes KT is aware that Truck # 0000 | Driver Name …. Is having issues with logs & we’re working to correct this issue! 📧 | But Having NO LOGS | and the ELD isn’t “WORKING” just upsets the DOT officer 👮‍♀️ even more 🚛💨💨
