When not crocheting who doesn't love spending time with some sweet chickens! This was my first year raising egg laying hens and I have had a blast!! I just completed the newest addition. A 9 x 13 run it is scheduled for all kinds of new toys for the girls.

Spring is my favorite time of year. Everything is new and fresh. New ideas new birds and plants. Time to plan the garden. What will we plant this year? I hope everyone is getting outside and spending those sweet golden hours with sunshine.

I never use hooks this small (3.75mm), but this hat is going to be soooo cute

Can't wait to teach this mandala class this Saturday at A Tangled Yarn Shop !! Thinking about making another one in BRIGHT colors....what colors are you using?!?

Finished mandala will be crocheted to fit a 20inch round metal hoop. Uses 3 skeins of Encore.

You'll need a 5mm hook. Locking stitch markers. Darning needles. Scissors.

Hi everyone!!! I'm Sara Rink and I'll be teaching a fun and relaxing cotton flower crochet class at the March
retreat at Big Lynn!!

My favorite thing about these flowers is that they can be ANYTHING!! A coaster, pack them in matching sets of 3 or 4 to make a great mother's day gift of face scrubbies, or you can string them all together and make a fun spring time garland. These would make adorable apliques for blankets too. The possibilities are endless.

This is my first class and I am so excited to teach
you!! This class has great mechanics for anyone
looking to brush up thier crochet skills, or to start
from scratch. The best part? The class is FREE!! So
come make some simple crochet flowers with me.

All you need to bring is a 5mm hook! This is a great scrap buster, so if you have any cotton laying around bring them to the class and turn clutter into a cute, fun and easy flower.

I will have a limited number of kits available, so please
let me know if you plan on joining me in this workshop.
Kits are $20 and include three 20g balls of DK weight
cotton. The yarn provided will make 12 flowers!!

Got some fresh pastels in my favorite cotton yarn, from my favorite yarn store . This Fantasy Natural is amazing to work with and oh so soft!!!

Hot off the hook!!!! I'm really trying to channel spring into this frosty morning with this scrappy garland. Made using yarn from my seemingly endless stash. Every flower is different, and it is just so cheery to say goodbye to the last of this chilly weather.

Finally, I got some more yarn yesterday, now to finish this bag!!! Last leg of the race, here we go!!!!!

Just working on some cute, springy, cotton face scrubbies while it rains outside. A little reminder of a Spring that is right around the corner! These are so simple and quick!! I think I might go stash diving and make a garland with leaves and some vines.....hmmmm. Stash shopping is always good on a rainy day.

I'm in granny square purgatory on this Sunday morning. Going through all of my WIPs trying to get all these half done projects completed. This will be a BEAUTIFUL bag. I'm thinking of trying to cloth line it. Maybe use it for a project bag.....for more yarn.....hmm....
