🌟Mental Health Matters at Work🌟
In today’s fast-paced world, our workplace significantly impacts our mental well-being. Stressful environments, lack of support, and long hours can lead to burnout and anxiety. It’s crucial for organizations to prioritize mental health, creating a culture that promotes open conversations, work-life balance, and supportive networks.
•In what ways does your employer prioritize mental health?
•What would you like to see more of in terms of support?
It’s Are You OK Day! First time hearing about it? Us too. But once we did, we had to jump on board.
Are You Okay Day is an annual observation in Australia, and it is celebrated on the second Thursday of every September. Australians use this day to check up on each other, especially those who are going through a tough time. It’s a day to make those around us feel seen, heard, and understood. They are definitely on to something good.
Who else is celebrating with us today? Who will you check up on?
At Avance Psychiatry Charlotte, compassion is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that seeking help for mental health can be a daunting journey, and our team is dedicated to providing a supportive, empathetic environment where you feel valued and heard. Together, we strive to create a space where healing and hope can flourish. A place to thrive. 💙💚

Does your teen have ADHD? Brains at this age are going through massive renovations with hormone changes. It‘s easy to start internalizing large emotional responses as signs of not fitting in, failing or not being good enough. And during back to school, those emotions can escalate.
Our ADHD Teen Group Therapy is designed to help them explore the impact of ADHD on emotional needs, gain language around types of self-care, coping skills, and emotions, and build strategies and tact as they learn to get these needs met in a community and home setting.
This group is often covered by insurance, is virtual, and is only 5 weeks long! Equip your teen with tools that will help them THRIVE. You can learn more information and sign up by visiting here: https://www.avancecare.com/adhd-teen-group-therapy/

In our society, discussions about mental health have made significant strides, yet there remains a pervasive stigma surrounding men’s experiences with anxiety and depression. Traditional gender norms often pressure men to appear strong, stoic, and unshaken by emotional turmoil. Many men are silently battling with anxiety and depression, and we need to talk about it.
Understanding Men's Anxiety and Depression: Breaking the Silence There remains a stigma surrounding men's experiences with anxiety and depression, and many are impacted by their mental health.
