Today, we commemorate Juneteenth! On this day in 1865, enslaved African Americans in Texas were finally emancipated, marking the end of slavery in the United States. Let's honor this significant milestone in our history by celebrating freedom, justice, and equality for all. Happy Juneteenth!

We just wrapped up another healthcare clinic for one of our clients. This space will be used as a medical research site for clinical trials. The project consisted of a 3,700 SF tenant fit-out in a medical office building complete with exam rooms, reception and patient waiting area, lab, offices, and supporting spaces. Don Middleton PE with Middleton Engineering brought Bautec Engineering onboard and together we provided MEP design services for this project. This is one of many locations for this nationwide program planned for the year.

Here’s a sneak peek at one of our latest projects that just kicked off. The Pied-à-terre is a modern waterfront vacation home designed by Open Workshop for Architecture. Nestled along a coastal inlet in St. Petersburg, FL, the residence has several stylish upscale amenities planned in the design. We teamed up with Middleton Engineering to collectively design the MEP systems. Be sure to check back in to see this home come to life.

Equality, Justice, and Human Rights. These were the principles Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. advocated for with his adoption of nonviolent resistance. We’ve come a long way as a society, but there is always room for continued improvement in how we treat others. Today we stand in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and his contributions to the civil rights movement.

BAUTEC was recently awarded a design driven renovation project in Miami Beach, FL. The project consists of a complete renovation of a high-end residential condo unit including the entire rework of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The architectural design is realized by Maurizio at Studio MBM who came up with an amazing floor plan using a circular theme that is carried throughout the design. Check out some of the schematic renderings and stay tuned for more exciting news.
