The Gear: Nikon F100 + 24-85 AF-S + QueenCity XX
The Model: SF, CA
We've got a nice batch of used Nikon F-mount goodies that were just consigned looking for a new home:
Old school 60mm micro: Fits any F-mount film or digital DSLR. Screw drive AF WILL NOT work with FTZ for mirrorless Nikon.
TC 14EIII: 1.4X converter for F mount. It's an AF-S lens which means it does work with the FTZ and compatible lenses (mostly tele exotics)
105 Micro: one of my all time favorite lenses. Crazy sharp & VR. AF-S means the FTZ works if you want to use it on a mirrorless body.
D810 body: Classic 2nd generation DSLR that is still a great machine. Approx 65,000 clicks.
500f/5.6 PF: Everything you want in a Telephoto - lightweight, fast, sharp - without breaking the bank.
Everything except the 60mm includes case, caps, hood, box and IB and is in like new condition. If you're interested or have questions - hit us up 👇or stop by.
An update on the 1-1-1 project...
1 camera: Nikon F100
1 lens: Nikkor 24-85 VR
1 film: Queen City XX
A really transformative experience. Limiting to 1 lens really made "seeing" the shot a more involved process. I was tuned into details and texture than normal.
Experiment - I played more with shutter speeds and panning (streetcar) than I regularly do. The get out of your head exercise comes from not knowing what you're going to get.
I saw things I wouldn't normally look for and shoot, like the carrots and the F*ck Your Tesla...and a reaI, working, pay phone in East Oakland. I found myself more in tune and connected to my surroundings.
For me this film's strongest feature is versatility. It looks great at any ISO from 100 and up... It edits beautifully and it's easy to create different looks without fear of wrecking the underlying image.
One of the things to love about this film is versatility. Playing with speed to see where my personal sweet spot is. Planning to shoot the next few at 64 or 100 and see how it looks.
Today was pretty much a zero day but we'll make up for it.
Pixel 7 + Snapseed
Hope y'all enjoy this sneak peek of my SF project

Recent additions to the used case need a spot in your bag
Minolta x700 - Classic film body from the 80s. We have 2 on hand. Both tested and ready to go.
Mamiya RB67 - The King. Iykyk
Nikon D5600 - 24MP DSLR w swivel screen, touch controls and easy wifi transfer.
Pentax 110 - Fun, bite-sized film SLR system. It's a handful!
Your film has a serious allergy to Xrays. If you're flying this summer, throw one of these in your bag (we've got them for you free for the asking) and nicely ask the TSA staff for a Hand Check. Works wonders, except (apparently) in the UK.
And when you hit the beach, remember that film hates heat even more than you do. Cracking a window won't help - keep it cool.
It's (almost) time for the next Ca$H for Cameras event!
Time to clean out your closet, gear bag, trunk or attic and turn your unloved and unused equipment on to cash! Our friends from KEH will be here and writing checks on the spot for your gear. Come join us!
