Man this is a tough one….
Yang has been coming to Double N for yearsssss! He is headed to Indiana with his family to start a new chapter in their lives! To say we will miss them is an understatement!!! We have become family and hopefully we will see them again one day!!!
Safe travels and good luck Ashley, Brian, Baby Nolan and our Yang!!!!!!!!! You guys will always hold a special place in our hearts!!!

One of our amazing rescue partners needs some help with donations….
Brody is extremely sick and we love this boy. He boards with us sometimes at Double N. Please “share” far and wide, as well as donate to help this sweet boy out. No amount too small!!!!!
Brody has been transferred to an emergency vet and admitted to the hospital in hopes of getting more concrete answers. Brody is in good spirits and he is still the bestest boy but we need answers to find out why he can not urinate on his own.
Brody's case is a mystery and we have multiple doctors and specialist reviewing his case to figure out the cause of his illness. The ER doctor will have an internal specialist and a neurologist examine Brody (hopefully tomorrow) to rule out a few more potential issues.
Our estimate for his care for the next three days is $4,000 and we hope we will have answers and a treatment plan before that. We had to leave a deposit of $3,000 today. Unfortunately, we have to consider this may not have the outcome we all hope for but we will not let money deter us from finding out what we need to in order to help Brody.
Brody deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life and we will give it everything we have to get him there.

Lost dog in our area. West side of Charlotte

One of our foster dogs is lost at the white water center. Please be on the look out. She is scared. She has a collar and gentle leader on around her mouth.
If you are in the area please keep an eye out but don’t yell her name as it will frighten her.

Who doesn’t love a ginger? I’m a smiley cute bully mix about 3 years old and 45 lbs. Someone left me in a field. I find that rude, but that’s ok. I know someone will come along that really loves me.
I love being with humans…even those little versions. The humans have mentioned that I am “fixed”…didn’t know I was broken 🤣
I would love someone that understands my breed. I get super excited around other dogs. I prefer the lady dogs that are bigger than me. I even like some big male dogs. If I’m being totally honest, I love all animals, but I play rough so the smaller type might get hurt. I need some leash training as I am a strong boy, but doing amazing for Miss Nicole in boarding. I am 100% crate trained and completely quiet in there but I would also love to cuddle on the couch with you. Are you my person??

I sent a little goodie box for Webster and his Mom and Dad about a month ago. They moved to Kansas and I think it’s safe to say that we all really miss each other. We didn’t know them prior to Webster boarding with us but I’m happy to say we built a lifelong friendship! I got a goodie box in return the other day 🤩🤩🤩 Love you Webster!!!!

Our Story
Double N Kennels has been boarding dogs for over 8 years. We cater to personally owned dogs as well as rescue/shelter dogs. We are a full service facility offering pick up from shelter, vetting, boarding, photos taken of dogs, temperament assessment and we work in conjunction with several transport companies to get the dogs delivered across the United States.
Dogs are housed in a few different situations, We have indoor and outdoor boarding depending on the dog and its needs. We have quarantine area for fresh dogs just out of the shelter. We also have separate areas for boarding litters of puppies. We can also house dogs longterm who are undergoing heartworm treatment.
We have a vet on standby who visits our facility at least once a week to help with any vetting cases. All dogs are taken to Gaston Low Cost Spay Neuter clinic and/or Stand For Animals clinic for their regular vetting needs (ie. spay, neuter, rabies, hw test, microchip, health certificates, etc)
We take pictures of all our residents and forward to their rescues so hopefully making it easier for the rescues to get them listed on Petfinder, etc and get them adopted out quicker.
Owners and staff live onsite and manage the property 24/7.
Boarding rates for rescues are $10.00 per day per dog.
Boarding rates for personal pets are $12.00 per day per dog.
We are trying to make a difference in the rescue world... one doggie at a time!!!!!
