Crisis Assistance Ministry allows us to shop at their free store for household items in bulk for our neighbors.
Starting in October, we'll also be able to refer neighbors for rental and utility assistance, providing even more crucial support!
We’re honored to partner with this organization to serve those in our community who are in financial crisis.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center has partnered with A Better World!
Pastor Ken Gilliard founded A Better World in 2001 to provide a positive educational after-school program for the at-risk youth of our community, serving approximately seventy children each week.
Their dedication to our youth goes beyond the needs of the classroom, and volunteers become a pivotal member in their lives.
We are pleased to announce our partnership with this organization. We are so thankful that God has allowed us this opportunity to work together to help the youth of our community.

MEET THE TEAM: Jessica is a pivotal leader in our Adopt A Block neighborhoods, crafting together powerful and engaging programming for neighborhood children to learn about and love God. Bright Blessings is an organization devoted to serving the families in our neighborhoods by delivering Bless-A-Birthday and Bless-A-Baby packages to highlight those special moments in life. This amazing organization, founded by Amy and John Cervantes, began in 2005 as a monthly birthday program and how now grown to be a successful organization that impacts more that 27,000 children annually!
CMDC is so thankful for all the blessings this organization has given to our community and we are excited to continue our journey through spiritual restoration with our new friends at Bright Blessings.
MEET THE TEAM: Bryant serves as a bridge between Dream Center Church and the Dream Center, inviting youth through Dream Center programming into community and discipleship at Dream Center Church. With an unwavering determination to see youth transformed by a revelation of Christ, Bryant ensures youth are reached and taught with truth and compassion, and find a sense of belonging in the body of Christ.

We are excited to host our youth and their parents for YTH Summer Bash this Sunday! CMDC, join us from 6pm-8pm for a mini fair with games, food, and music to kickoff the school year.
MEET THE TEAM: After several years of volunteering with the Dream Center and attending Restoring Place Church, Jamie now leads Friday Night Street Ministry, establishing meaningful relationships with our neighbors on the streets and inviting them into discipleship at Restoring Place Church. Because of Jamie’s passion for spreading the love of Jesus and the good news of the Gospel, lives have been healed and restored.
MEET THE TEAM: Victor embodies the rare balance of spiritual gifts, community development and operations management. These gifts equip Victor to initiate spiritual revival, community transformation and organizational efficiency. Victor is a licensed minister, known as a compelling speaker with a keen ability to make connections.
We are celebrating 8 years in Reid Park with a block party including food from Noble Smoke, games, treats, prizes and a raffle for our neighborhood!
MEET THE TEAM: Susanna plays an essential role in planning, executing, and evaluating programs at the Dream Center, ensuring effective implementation and alignment to the Dream Center mission and vision.
With a deep commitment to social impact, Susanna strives to empower individuals and communities through innovative and impactful programming.

Darian leads Dream Center Discipleship initiatives and serves as a church growth strategist.
His personal mission to Love God, Lift People and Lead Communities directly align with those of the Dream Center.
