Happy 12 years to Cirrus Salon. Never would I have imagined we'd be going through this right now. I feel very fortunate to have made it this far. I owe a lot of our success to a lot of different people. Friends that helped, friends that supported, many killer staff member that made work fun.... A very understanding wife that I could always lean on. Life sure has changed a lot in the last few months, but still so many things to be thankful for.

So many thanks to all of our wonderful clients, past and present. Also a huge thanks to staff present and past. Darcy Lynn Jones, Sasha Taylor, Stephanie Genter, Lindsey Frazier, Jessica Smith, Courtney Valvo, Laura Buchanan as well as some others not on FB.

We've spoken to a number of clients already showing concern for our staff during the shutdown, it's greatly appreciated. I want to assure you that they will be compensated 100% of their pay until we can open again.

To our local Salon community, owners and stylists. Lean on each other for ideas, it’s important to come together as a community to get through this. We’ve never thought of other businesses in town as competition. We’ve always felt we are all unique in our own ways with different things to offer. You need a brainstorm session, some advice, just need to vent? We’re here for you if you need us.

It was inevitable. Today we have had a mandatory, indefinite statewide shutdown. For the last two weeks we’ve been operating at 10% of our normal schedule to keep our clients and staff safe. The entire idea behind Cirrus was to create the best place possible for people to work. A warm and inviting place for clients to have five minutes to take a break from their busy lives. Although this is an unprecedented situation, we have no plans on letting this beat us. Our 12th year will be May 1st, 2020. We opened dead in the middle of the financial crisis. We were so lucky to be in a situation surrounded by great businesses and friends at that time. Camden Road was absolutely a family, and we are thinking about all of them right now. We know how important a real community is in times like this.

We hope we ALL can take something positive from this stressful experience. More time with your family, being helpful to an elderly neighbor in need. No longer taking those moments or people in your lives for granted. Your Friends, coworkers, people you don’t talk with with on a regular basis anymore. That coffee with a friend, trip to the gym, lunch at your favorite local restaurant. It’s all going to feel a lot different when it’s all over. We just can’t make it like 2008 again, when we forget the moment our lives get back to normal. We all can’t forget about the people and businesses that made those now unrecognizable neighborhoods thrive in the midst of a crisis.

For our clients, we will directly contact each and every one of you that have appointments with us. We’re thinking about all of you, and we hope you are safe and healthy. We can’t wait to see you again….
