Just a little reminder friends, that we are closed this weekend for a brief summer break. Our tasting tavern will reopen for regular hours on Thursday, July 25th.

*Please note that we are also closed on Sunday 28th for a private workshop.

TMC Closed for Summer Break — Thistlerock Mead The farm and tasting room will be closed for this mid summer weekend as our team recharges with family.

Enormous thank you to Emily Hemphill for asking so many great questions about bees, honey and mead production, and Thistlerock Mead Company’s commitment to radical sustainability and for sharing our story so thoughtfully. As always, huge love to my co-founders Doug Suchan Allison Wickham & Bevin Etienne, our bloom-to-bottle collaborator/chief-flower-farmer and champion Christine Mahoney, our farm and tavern managers Rafael Sanchez & Amanda Kwiecien, our entire team and of course of families. Without this Bee-Team (and many others), this work would not be possible - not in the least!

Only fitting our first open Sunday (12-5pm) will be graced by our wonderful friend and talented bard Matthew O'Donnell, who will play the tasting tavern from 3-5pm!
