Our next senior spotlight is Alex C. '24. "Going to St. Anne's has taught me the value of hard working, which pushes me in all aspects of my academic life. It allows me to develop holistically and not only explore the things I like. I think this is very beneficial for me in college or my future career."

Alex is attending Virginia Tech in the fall and plans to major in engineering. Congratulations, Alex! We will miss you in the orchestra and on the track field next year!

It's hard to believe we say farewell to our seniors in less than a week! Today's spotlight is Sandbox Kid Izzy S. '24.

“One of the most beautiful part of St. Anne's that I have experienced from Kindergarten to my senior year is that the adults and students here really want to listen to me. My advice would be don't be afraid to talk to your teachers. Whether or not through the extracurricular activities, your actual academic classes, or outside of the school, you should utilize that tool in order to grow your own voice, learn who you are, and take part in the opportunities here."

Izzy S. is going to University of St. Andrews in Scotland this fall. You have left your mark on Saint Stage Productions, Banter Publications, and Poetry club, we will miss you so much next year! Congratulations, Izzy!

Student Athlete of the Week: Andy Xie 05/25/2024

Continuing our senior spotlights, we have Andy X. '24. Andy is the CBS19 student-athlete of the week! "He's just gone head first and done it all and you see him outside of school hanging out with the guys and forming a connection beyond tennis," says his coach, Saints alum Jake Fallica '20. Watch the news story below.

Good luck at UVA next year, Andy! We'll miss you on the court, on the stage, and in the classroom.

Student Athlete of the Week: Andy Xie Growing up, Andy Xie was asked a simple question. Do you want to play badminton or tennis? And he said the choice was pretty simple.

05/21/2024

With the academic journey of our seniors at St. Anne's-Belfield approaching an end, we will be celebrating and sharing some of their wisdom and experience with their fellow students through senior spotlights.

Starting with Fiona Wu '24. "My journey at St. Anne's has taught to me to always be open to different opportunities. This is an incredibly open and inclusive environment where you can always meet new people and try new things. Just by putting yourself out there, you might land up doing something amazing and you never expected before." Fiona will attend New York University next year and we wish you all the best!
