Who We Are
We are His Image Barber Shop, a Black-owned barber shop located in Charlottesville, Va. We provide classic and contemporary barbering and natural hair care in a relaxing, community-oriented atmosphere that accommodates the business person, the student, the parent and the child. 💈
We opened our first shop in January 2009 on Emmet St. At that time, we only had a few barbers and business was much slower. Although we loved our Emmet St location (now Impulse Social Club), rent costs were increasing and we had to make a decision. In 2012, we decided to relocate to our Berkmar Drive location.
Now, our shop houses 5 gifted barbers who cater to our diverse and growing clientele🏆. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that is safe, community-focused and filled with positive energy that allows our clients to unwind and relax.
