It’s our November Accessory launch y’all! And if you want a sneaky peaky of all the fun things coming your way (October 30th, 12 pm ET), then go check out our newest YouTube!
Pro tip: if you’re a member of our Facebook group, you can get early access to all these products on Sunday, October 27th at 7 pm ET when we’ll be doing a special Laurel Denise Loves Live, straight from the studio!
But, can you planner do THIS?! Nancy uses every inch of her planner and it fills me with so much actual, real life joy. I love seeing how it helps her in every aspect of her daily doings - from physical therapy exercises to managing her laurel denise workload to friend dates to moving! This month has been a busy one for her and I’m in awe, yet again, of her organizational mastery.
ITS A NEW TUBE ON THE YUBE!
“Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-check-a-list, give me give me give me the insert, because I wanna CHECK IT (OFF!)” Welp this jingle has been stuck in our head since filming, and now we sing it about as often as we use our checklist inserts (which is, like 10 times a day). What can we say! Here at Laurel Denise we love a jingle and a gosh darn versatile insert and oooo-wee if the checklist insert doesn’t somehow *check all those boxes!* Watch along to learn how you can organize and plan anything from back-to-school shopping to tracking your mood. Happy planning!
CHECKLIST INSERT PAGES!! Scroll through for soooooo many cool ideas on how to use these inserts. Pro tip: If you don’t want to buy inserts, you can set most of these up in the notes section of your Horizontal and Vertical Weeklies, y’all!
Check out our Stories today for some visual details and a full on link to a video with soooooo much more information. Look in our “Inserts” highlight if you’re scrolling this post and the stories have expired.

We have arrived to the eve of launch, friends. Can you even?! I’m proud of us. Super proud. Our final get to know you question is: IF YOU COULD PICK A DAY TO RE-LIVE OVER AND OVER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? My answer in the comments.
2025 Launch: 9/4 at 12pm ET
Happy 2 more days until 2025 launch to all who celebrate. I know y’all are all dying for today’s question. I just know that you are. So here it is: WHAT FICTIONAL CHARACTER DO YOU HAVE BEEF WITH? (Okay, this is a selfish question because your girl has OPINIONS on this and I just want to talk about it.) My answer in the comments.
2025 Launch: 9/4 at 12pm ET
3 more days!!! Honestly, what’s 3 days? Like, hardly anything. Right? Right. Let’s keep going with our get to know you questions from YOU. We are all loving these answers. Question number 3 is: DOES ROUND OR SQUARE PIZZA TASTE BETTER? (Honestly, this feels very relevant to paper people - rounded or squared corners, ammiright?!) My answer in the comments.
2025 Launch: 9/4 at 12pm ET
4 more days!!! I can hardly take it. Let’s keep going with our get to know you questions from YOU because it’s actually really fun. Question number 2 is: WHAT’S THE ONE NON-PLANNER ITEM YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT? My answer in the comments.
2025 Launch: 9/4 at 12pm ET
5 more days, y’all. Just five. We’ve got this. Let’s celebrate this 2025 Planner launch with some get to know you questions from YOU! Question number 1 for the 5th day before launch (wait, whut?!) is: WHAT DAY SHOULD BE A HOLIDAY THAT ISN’T? My answer in the comments.
2025 Launch: 9/4 at 12pm ET
INSTA TAKEOVER Mabby, Nancy, Jenn and Aline here to introduce you to our amazing boss, Lolly  The boss lady, pool mom, and Pattie the planner girl who has welcomed each of us into this wild planner family with wide open arms. We don’t get to pop-in like this very often, so we just wanted to take a sec and say Lolls, we love you very much and are super grateful to get to be a part of this beautiful chaos. You da best!
What was a typical day for you growing up?
I grew up where I live now - in Charlottesville, Va - with two big sisters and a giant backyard. My sisters were much older than me, so I usually spent my time running around the neighborhood with my best friend playing “Terebithia” and “Secret Garden” and “Horse Farm”. I became what I will politely call a musical theater enthusiast when I was 9 and basically never looked back. I did 3-5 plays a year and filled my life with my group of theater friends. If it was musical or artistic and I was a kid, I was probably doing it.
What’s your favorite pattern in the 2025 Collection?
I cried when I saw the pattern that’s on Sunny Days. I was so proud of Nancy and so grateful for her work and it was just perfect, I literally got emotional. So, yeah, I’m thinking THAT’S my favorite. But I also super love Kenwood Lane. It’s soft and subtle and happens to be named after the street I grew up on!
Where did the idea for Pattie the Planner Girl come from?
From the depths of my planner girl heart?? I think Pattie was born when I was injected with my first round of pencil lead as a young 2nd grader in the 90s (iykyk) and she just grew from there. Okay, probably not really. Fine! The real answer is that when we re-launched our planner, I wanted to make a big point to launch as an atypical planner gal and celebrate how weird and fun we all are, instead of concentrating on the curated and perfect looks that can often come with people who love to plan. Pattie felt like a really fun way to just get to be weird and silly and still talk about planners.
(Continued in comments. Laurel has lots of words.)
This feels universal, right?
That time we returned to our college ways to plan!!
The BEST College Planner Layouts for Max Productivity + Success | OMG Planners! with Laurel Denise How good would it feel to never forget another due date? To never be surprised by a test that you should’ve been studying for? How on top of things would you...
Oh, Aline (pronounced Ahhhh-Lean), the customer service queen who is so behind the scenes that you might not even know who I mean. (OMG, the insane joy that I came up with a rhyme for that opening line!) I’ve loved this beautiful gal since she was a baby in college and now she has a baby of her own (and another on the way!) and it’s just my absolute pleasure to introduce you to her!
Something that makes you smile?
Walking through the flower section of Trader Joes.
Describe yourself in three words.
It’s Taco Tuesday.
What do you always carry with you?
The rosary my husband made for me when we were dating. And extra baby socks.
What was a typical day for you growing up?
In South Louisiana, I literally grew up playing by the bayou with my brothers. From trampoline wars to playing school (and forcing my brothers to be the students) and swimming in a pool nonstop during the summer, it sometimes feels like it was the intro to a southern Hallmark movie.

Pentel EnerGel Needle Tip 0.3 with Pilot G-2 0.38 as a close second.

Rounded or Sharp corners?
I do love a soft rounded edge…
How did you come to be a part of Laurel Denise?
As a junior in college, I craved to do something with my hands after focusing so much on studying and staring at computers. Laurel emailed a university listserv that I was a part of looking for an intern and I think I responded within 3 minutes. She graciously agreed to set up an interview, and I offered to do literally whatever she wanted me to just so I could be in a creative studio space again. My first task was creating lots of green paper chains for a jewelry booth at Magnolia in Waco and I was hooked! Now 7 years later, I’m a mama and still get to be part of the team remotely as the customer service gal :)

I mean.
Next up in our Let’s Meet Team LD is our beloved Studio Mom (aka Mabby). To know Mabby is to be loved and taken care of by Mabby. She is a caretaker through and through and does SO MUCH behind the scenes work at Laurel Denise to keep the wheels turning. Let’s hear her answers to some of the random questions I decided to ask her!
Favorite holiday?
Christmas. Always.
A good piece of advice you’ve received?
Do one thing well before you add another.
What’s the cutest thing on earth?
Any baby animal! I love them all!
What was a typical day for you growing up?
I grew up on a very large cattle farm with my twin sisters. No cable tv (only Saturday morning cartoons), lots of mud soup making, with sweet tea and hot Virginia summers. Not only did we have lots of critters and animals, but our dirty selves ran free like little animals!
Lined, Dot, or Grid?
Dot, always!
Favorite Pen?
The Pilot Frixion Erasable 0.5 solved all my planner anxieties.
Sunday or Monday Start?
Monday, always and forever!
Rounded or Sharp corners?
Rounded because I’m super clumsy and all sharp corners in my life become bendy.
How did you come to be a part of Laurel Denise?
The Laurel-Mabby combo started back in 1997 when we’d pass notes in high school and Laurel hyper fixated on her script-writing. Fast forward through college, moving, being in each other’s weddings, having babies, I started on Team LD when I met “Nancy Design Wizard” in 2014 in a Panera to learn to make the leather bracelets that were the cornerstone of Laurel Denise until 2022. That didn’t last long - 500 bracelets later and my hands were DONE! Fast forward again to 2022 when me and Laurel rescheduled coffee THREE times to finally land on a date where we geeked out on planners and planning for three hours straight. Laurel called me the next day and asked me to be her right hand gal - it was destiny! Too bad we can’t find those high school notebooks…
⚠️ COLLEGE STUDENTS it’s almost time and this is your year, I just know it. All of the chaos and beauty and fun and pressure and stress and friendship that makes up college life is about to find its parameters so that you can feel ORGANIZED and READY TO GO. Chat. (I used it wrong, didn’t I?)
