Let’s go over this one more time…every so often we host our dear homie Elliot aka for one night…the man cooks chicken like his life depends on it. Don’t get us wrong, the sides are top notch, premium quality A fu$&ing 1…but the damn chicken 🤤🤤 You get the jist. SO that takes us to this Thursday February 22nd from 6 to 10 he’ll be taking over for the first time at our new location. Here’s the catch. This is a RESERVATION only event so slide into our Dm’s if you’d like a table and we’ll happily set you up. In effect, we will CLOSE AFTER DARK for this event (no Guajiros food that night just ) There are limited seats! So we will only take walk ins if we fail to reserve all tables but that is rarely the case. I think that’s clear?? Maybe…any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Ohhh 817 West Main…you’ve been good to us, but now it is time to say adios. Remember when we met? You gave us hope during our ‘go big or go home’ moments. You had so much experience and we were so young…and now we leave you as adults after you cared for us. You saw the best and worst of us. You celebrated with us after we hit our record 364 covers (plus takeouts 🫠) and witnessed us cry when we had 45 min tickets on the board for hours. You allowed our creativity to flourish without ever complaining, always strong for us. It wasn’t all perfect; you had wounds that were hard to heal from previous experiences, but you were perfect for us 🥹 We’ll miss your squeaky floors, imperfect windows, how you danced at the arrival of the trains and every single one of your 18 steps to get upstairs!

Word is out and we got the 🔑 in hand, the familia Guajiros is re-locating to 10th St Warehouses (former and beloved ). Our West Main location will remain operating until the end of the year but we will push to have our new location ready before then.
Couldn’t be more excited to take on a new adventure and we will be forever grateful for all the love and support the community has shown us over the years. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of YOU!!

Reservations for Khadija’s kitchen take over are LIVE and we couldn’t be more excited for this event! The menu will feature 3 options that diners will be able to choose from ranging from two lamb dishes and one vegetarian dish (slide ➡️ for details). Dishes will be served as is and to keep the integrity of the menu and course of the event there will be no substitutions. Head over to the link in our bio to fill out the form to reserve a spot and make sure the invoice is paid in full to guarantee your space. Seating is limited so act QUICK. Next Wednesday, 5/10 we’ll be hosting a group of students who recycle and reuse engineering waste to create art pieces. Part of their mission also includes utilizing sterile hospital waste into 3D printing filament. Follow them on their journey and come see the show! Happy Anniversary to us! 🎉🎊🍾Yesterday we officially hit our 1 year (4/2/22). It’s been an amazing year and now it’s time to celebrate. On Saturday 4/8 we will be celebrating The Unlimited Way with Great vibes, food, drinks and music by .double.u. Another local Cville restaurant that fuels (and hydrates) Decades Arcade is Guajiros Miami Eatery 🌺 After I spent my normal lunchtime in meetings with our movers, electrician, and helping Josh tidy up after moving in a new game (which I'll show you Saturday), I headed over to see Nilo, Harvey, Sebas & Juan for a late lunch.

Like us, they love antiques (see some in this pic?) and they love what they do!
