Every year the scholarships and prizes we give out would not be possible without our sponsors. I’d like to take the coming weeks/months to shout out each and every sponsor from this year. We’d like to start with Hummingbird Flowers. The first year they sponsored us it was so last minute and they jumped right into action. This year they sponsored us again and we couldn’t be happier with the bouquets they provide as well as their level of care and service!

We’d like to thank everyone for coming out to support our Miss Labor Day and Miss Whitwell 2024 competitions. This event means so much to both of us and we love each and every one of our girls.

With full transparency, we’d like to issue the following statement:

This year, we incorrectly crowned Miss Whitwell. The contestant we crowned and the contestant who was the rightful winner unfortunately had a scoring mix up on our end when tabulating. We take full responsibility for this mistake and apologize deeply for any hurt or disappointment this has caused. We feel it is right to allow the rightful winner of the title to claim that title and be recognized for her hard work and performance at Miss Whitwell. With that being said, we ask that you extend us grace at this time for having made a mistake. We would never do anything or make any decision with any ill intent and believe what we are doing now is the best course of action to move forward. We would like to note that every single party involved on both sides of this unfortunate situation has been as absolutely understanding and gracious as anyone could expect them to be. The contestants in question have acted admirably and taken the very difficult news with grace and poise. If anyone has any questions at all they can direct them to us, the directors, and not to any of the other parties involved. We’d like to thank you all for understanding. Please congratulate your new Miss Whitwell, Bentley Webster. ✨

We are so proud of our Miss Whitwell 2022 for competing in the Cornbread Festival pageant over the weekend. She tacked on-stage question for the first time! Go Paris! 🤩

Good luck to our former Miss Whitwell, Rylie Smith, as she competes in DYW of Marion County this evening! ❤️

Today, we have Participant #3, Rylie Smith. Rylie attends Whitwell High School. After high school, she plans to attend Tennessee Technological University where she will major in Nursing. Rylie aspires to obtain her masters degree, become a nurse practitioner, and one day be a dermatologist.

For her talent presentation, she will be playing the piano.

Who is ready for a 2021 Princesses & Pearls pageant? 🤩

Judged my first virtual pageant for Princesses & Pearls this morning! The contestants were super cute and everyone did an amazing job.

FREE PHOTO CONTEST 💕 All ages! Photos will be judged based on clarity, personality, and overall appeal. While these CAN be pageant headshots, they do not have to be.

I just want to let everyone know what is going on for Princesses & Pearls right now. As many of you know, we have been directing preliminary events for Miss Tennessee United States since the beginning of 2018. At this time Courtney and I feel it is in the best interest of our business and our contestants that we discontinue holding these events. Going forward, we will be holding events as we always have that are fun, local, and laid back. We apologize to those who may have planned to attend our upcoming 2020 preliminary events, and thank you all - especially my current girls - for understanding. Be on the lookout for our next event in APRIL! 💕
