Dragon Boat Festival Day seems like the perfect day to announce our new 21+ only DELUXE TOUR! Later this month, we will start our tour with an extended stop inside a fantastic haunted location- The Dragon Infused Drink Bar, just a couple of blocks from us! Dragon Lounge is a CANNABIS LOUNGE- which is NOT someplace that sells ma*****na or where people smoke ma*****na, but rather someplace that serves DELICIOUS fruity drinks, brownies, and other yummy creations, both in virgin format OR infused with water-soluble Delta-9 THC, which IS legal in TN!! So our adult guests get to hear about their delightfully mischievous ghost, as well as some other haunts in the neighborhood, while guests can buy and consume a refreshment of their choice, before we continue on with our tour!

As with our Read House Deluxe tour, this will be limited to half the number of people we take on our Murder & Mayhem tour, and will last longer than that tour. Our two deluxe tours are our only offerings with stops INSIDE haunted locations. The Dragon Deluxe Tour, however, is unique among the nation, in featuring a lounge of this type. And for guests who choose to sample their infused products, bonus- NO hangover!

Hi, I'm SO excited to announce that my play Life in Hindsight: The Corpsewood Episode has been accepted into Next Exit Productions.'s Ten Minute Play Festival at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre! Life in Hindsight is an afterlife talk show, where our ebullient host will be interviewing five deceased souls who were involved with the Corpsewood tragedy and subsequent trial. Auditions will be held at Chattanooga Theatre Centre June 24 and 25, and my play will be presented the first night of the festival, August 15. A total of 8 plays will be presented August 15-17. At least one ghost hunter I know has said the solar flares causing the northern lights here are also likely to cause more paranormal activity. It should be a great night for a ghost hunt!!

Dale and Jill have developed a game called Oranges with Anna, our su***de bride ghost, where they ask her to light up the K2 meter JUST to yellow/orange, not green and not all the way to red. She’s very good at this game and likes to play.
You’ll see a few pieces of our other equipment in this photo. My personal favorite is the light-up dowsing rods.

Are you ready for the solar eclipse?? Last total solar exlipse, we bought from Amazon (who we thought we could trust- silly us!) a ton of goggles advertised as being dark enough for solar eclipse eye protection, resold them all in different venues, then got a note from Amazon saying, "My bad- they really won't protect your eyes during the eclipse." So we hunted down everyone, gave them their money back, and told them not to use them during the eclipse.

But while they WON'T protect your eyes during the eclipse, our goggles ARE without a doubt fashionable, and sold in our steampunk shop before tours.

Happy eclipsing, and make sure you wear appropriate eye protection. :)

The Fish Doorbell is SO COOL!https://visdeurbel.nl/en/the-fish-doorbell/ Nothing to do with ghosts but so awesome I had to share. There is a Dutch city where they were concerned about all the predators snatching up the fish that were having to wait for hours or days at a lock (which to the birds= fast food restaurant) for it to be opened to allow them to pass through on their journey upstream to mate, that they installed the fish doorbell. Viewers can watch a livestream, and literally press an online doorbell when they see fish, so the lockkeeper can open the gate to let the fish through, if there are enough hanging about. Check it out!!

WHY ARE PEOPLE AFRAID OF GHOSTS? Two big reasons. People are afraid of the unknown. And people are afraid of death. Ghosts are by definition associated with death, which is the biggest unknown there is! But when you think about it, ghosts should be a comfort to those afraid of death, since for most people (other than the really wicked), fear of death is a fear we will cease to exist, and ghosts are proof that we continue to exist after our bodies are gone! So come on down, get over your fears, and buddy up to some of our friendly ghosts. ;) They've been waiting for you.

BTW though our tour only has a couple of spaces left this evening, we still have several spaces left on our once/week combo tour hunt TONIGHT, as well as our UTC/Cemetery ghost hunt (which is getting full for tomorrow.) And tomorrow is our trial of our new kids hunt for families with teen & pr***en budding ghost hunters! NOTE WE CHANGED THE TIME FOR TEEN HUNT TO 7pm!

For all those folks with older kids who want to do the GHOST HUNT- we are excited to announce that our guide Jill Kemmer is leading a training ghost hunt specifically for teens & pr***ens this upcoming Saturday at 6:00 pm! If this trial hunt goes well, we will schedule more in the future. This WILL be in the same locations as our UTC?Cemetery Ghost Hunt & ticketed on that page. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There are only 10 spaces available for this hunt and we expect them to go fast, so act accordingly!

So I was asking my adult daughters if they had heard of the Supernatural VR Fitness program, which puts you in gorgeous destinations (that's the "natural" part of it I guess) around the world while you play a game hitting orbs to work out. My oldest daughter responded, "When you said supernatural I thought it was some kind of ghost themed workout 😂 I was really praying it was like hardcore ghost hunting that makes you break a sweat 😂😂" BWAHAHAHAHA! 🤣🤣👻
