Simply a fantastic concert last night yesterday at Memorial Auditiriu! The Chattanooga Symphony knocked it out of the park! Welcome to town Ilya Ram! And congratulations again to Matthew Kimbley on the performance of the Atlantic Overture.

Throwback to the premiere of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera 's 1971-72 season. We've been recording the CSO for at least 53 years and are so excited for the opening of yet another season! It's going to be am amazing concert tonight with Ilya Ram conducting!
In October of 2023, Matthew Kimbley's Atlantic Overture received its premiere by the Southern Adventist University Symphony Orchestra. On Thursday, September 26, it will be included on the program of the Chattanooga Symphony's season opener, conducted by Ilya Ram. General Manager Robby Raney sat down with Matthew a few weeks ago to discuss this piece and Matthew's compositional career and aspirations.
