Glenn Draper, the legendary UTC choral director, passed away yesterday. From the Ed Sullivan Show and Carnegie Hall to the White House and Australia's Sydney Opera House, he was no stranger to success. When he founded the Chattanooga Singers, Singing Mocs and UTC Chamber choir, he took the choirs to soaring heights and began a legacy that still exists today. We honor his life and the impact he made on his students. Feel free to share any memories or stories you have.

Renowned Chattanooga Musical Director Glenn Draper Dies Mr. Draper came to Chattanooga in 1968 and spent more than 30 years as director of Choral Activities and professor of Music at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.
