Prenatal infections can include both bacterial and viral illnesses. The transmission can happen before, during, and after pregnancy. 👶

Updated COVID-19 procedures beginning today. The lobby is open. We are asking patients to follow the below process:

1. 24-hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message to confirm your appointment.

2. Confirm appointment. After confirming, click begin check-in. You are able to complete paperwork in the comfort of your home!

3. Complete all questions asked during mobile check-in. Once complete, keep text message until you arrive at our facility.

4. When you arrive in the waiting room, use the same text link and click "I have arrived."

5. Stop at the front desk to provide your insurance information.

5. Wait in your car. When we notify you to come to the office, please go to the front to complete check-in.

We are closely monitoring and learning about the corona-virus (COVID-19). During this time, we are making the following policy changes to safely serve our patients:
1. Telehealth visits are available for medication refills, hormone discussions, depression management, and obstetrical sick consultations. The physician will consult with sick obstetrical patients via telehealth to determine if an office visit is necessary.
2. Anyone with flu-like illness (fever, cough, sore throat), exposed to COVID-19, or recently returned from abroad must reschedule their appointment.
3. Obstetrical patients are allowed one healthy adult guest to accompany them in our office. Minors may have one healthy adult guardian.
4. We are not allowing children in the office until restrictions are lifted for social gatherings. If this is a problem due to childcare, please call our office and we will make after-hour accommodations for you.
5. Online check-in is available. The portal/app shows any upcoming appointments and contains a link to complete questionnaires for those appointments. Complete those prior to your appointment and make any demographic changes while in the portal/app. When you arrive on campus, call the office and we will check you in. When you room is ready, we will text you the room number and you can come in the back door.

We are working diligently to provide virtual appointments for visits not requiring contact between the patient and provider. Also, we will offer online/phone check-in to skip the waiting room. You will be able to complete paperwork online with a call to the office to complete the check-in process. When the nurse is ready for you, we will call/text you the room number. We will es**rt you from the back-office door straight to the exam room. If requested, we can meet and es**rt you in the building via the stairwell. We hope to have all processes in place to begin March 16th.

Beginning February 3, OBGYN COE will have a new medical record system. We feel this change is necessary to better serve our patients. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.

We would like to tell you about the new electronic check-in process and electronic statements. You will receive an email to create a new portal account with Healow (EClinical Works). You will see your appointment on the main screen with a button labeled Questionnaire. Click the button and complete the two forms. Also, click menu and go to Questionnaire and complete the surgery and immunization questionnaire. While exploring our new portal, you will notice easier access to ask questions or pay you bill. Your statements are located in the same portal and will notify availability by email
